Nach den ersten Tagen auf dem \u201eTrans Swiss Trail\u201c ging es weiter, diesmal von Bern aus.<\/p>

Diese Strecke f\u00fchrte uns von der Bundesstadt nach Worb. Wir erwarteten eine recht eint\u00f6nige Strecke entlang der Aare, aber zu unserer \u00dcberraschung ist dieser Abschnitt angenehm.<\/p>

Vom Hauptbahnhof Bern ging es zun\u00e4chst mit der kleinen Standseilbahn Marzili ans Aareufer. Es verk\u00fcrzt nicht die Strecke, aber es macht Spass, mit dieser Standseilbahn mitten in der Stadt, neben dem Bundeshaus, zu fahren.<\/p>

Von dort aus muss man nur noch die Aare beim Marzili-Bad \u00fcberqueren und man macht sich auf den langen Weg flussaufw\u00e4rts. Am Anfang ist der Weg sehr urban, mit gepflasterten Gehwegen. Dies ist bis zum D\u00e4hlh\u00f6lzli, der Tierpark von Bern, der Fall. Nach dieser Stelle geht es auf einem Feldweg weiter und es dauert nicht lange, bis man unterhalb von Elfenau ein kleines Naturschutzgebiet erreicht. Dieser Ort ist offenbar bei Vogelbeobachtern beliebt.<\/p>

Weiter geht es an einer F\u00e4hre vorbei, mit der man auf die andere Seite nahe der G\u00fcrbem\u00fcndung fahren kann. Dieser Fluss ist derjenige, der vom Gurnigelpass absteigt und daher das G\u00fcrbetal durchfliesst, das auch \u00abChabistal\u00bb genannt wird. In der N\u00e4he des Bodenackers kommt man an einem Denkmal mit einem Dutzend Namen und einem Datum vorbei: 3. M\u00e4rz 1986. Aus Neugier recherchierte ich sp\u00e4ter. Es ist ein Denkmal f\u00fcr die Opfer des tragischen Absturzes der Cessna 425 (HB-LLS).<\/p>

Entlang der Strecke and der Aare dachten wir an das Lied einer Berner Gruppe: „Stiller Has“ mit dem Titel „Aare“ (f\u00fcr Fans von Liedern in „B\u00e4rnd\u00fctsch“).<\/p>

Nachdem man am Schwimmbad Muri und vor der Br\u00fccke Auguetbr\u00fcgg vorbeigegangen ist, beginnt den Aufstieg, um das Aartal zu verlassen. Nach dem Anstieg \u00fcberquert man die Autobahn, die ins Oberland f\u00fchrt und ich kann nicht anders, als zu denken, dass man heutzutage eine ganz andere Route gew\u00e4hlt h\u00e4tte. Die landschaftlichen und st\u00f6renden Auswirkungen dieser Autobahn sind enorm.<\/p>

Es dauerte nicht lange bis Allmendingen bei Bern erreicht wurde. In diesem Dorf \u00fcberraschte uns eine eher ungew\u00f6hnliche Bushaltestelle. Diese ist aus Holz und das Schild ist blau, wie die Schilder in den Bahnh\u00f6fen damals (die gr\u00f6sser waren als heute). Die Erkl\u00e4rung ergibt sich daraus, dass bei der Schliessung der Haltestelle Allmendingen 1982, auf der Strecke Bern-Thun, diese Haltestelle an die Gleise abgebaut und mitten im Dorf wiedergebaut wurde.<\/p>

Nach der \u00dcberquerung zweier Bahnlinien (die nach Thun und die ins Emmental) erreicht man das Dorf R\u00fcfenacht. Es war f\u00fcr uns sehr seltsam, diesen Ort aus einem anderen Blickwinkel als aus dem Auto zu sehen, da wir in der Vergangenheit oft vorbeigegangen waren.<\/p>
