Ich war schon lange nicht mehr auf dem Emosson le Vieux Damm. Mit anderen Worten, als ich das letzte Mal zu den Dinosaurierspuren gestiegen bin, verlief der Pfad am linken Ufer des Lac du Vieux Emosson. Auf der H\u00f6he des Staudamms durchquerte man ein Stollen, um dem linken Ufer zu folgen, bevor den Aufstieg zum Col des Corbeaux.<\/p>

Nach der Aufhebung des Damms Ende der 2000er Jahre steigt der Weg nun am rechten Ufer und erreicht direkt das Ort mit den Spuren.<\/p>

Vom Col de la Gueulaz ausgehend \u00fcberquert man zun\u00e4chst den beeindruckenden Emosson-Bogendamm und folgt einer kleinen Asphaltstrasse, die nach Vieux-Emosson f\u00fchrt. An einer Stelle lohnt es sich, einem kleinen Pfad zu folgen, auf dem die Kehre der Strasse abgek\u00fcrzt werden kann.<\/p>

Auf dem Damm angekommen, \u00fcberquert man diesen und folgen dem rechten Ufer des Lac du Vieux Emosson auf den H\u00f6hen. Noch eine kleine Anstrengung und man erreicht die ber\u00fchmte Platte mit den Spuren. Diese Spuren werden vor -245 Millionen Jahren datiert, also ganz am Anfang des Mesozoikums. Interessanterweise ist die Zeit der Dinosaurier f\u00fcr viele Menschen der Jura, w\u00e4hrend es in Wirklichkeit das Mesozoikum als Ganzes ist (einschliesslich des Jura).<\/p>

F\u00fcr den R\u00fcckweg bin ich \u00fcber die Veudale Schlucht zur\u00fcckgekommen. Auch wenn man bis dorthin noch ein wenig aufsteigen muss, lohnt sich der Weg, weil man sich in einer kleinen Welt f\u00fcr sich befindet. In der N\u00e4he des T\u00eate du Largey erreicht man die Strasse, die man beim Aufstieg gefolgt war.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
