Je m\u2019\u00e9tais dit que pour une fois, je pourrais entreprendre une ou deux \u00e9tapes du chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle en Suisse. Je m\u2019\u00e9tais port\u00e9 pour cela sur l\u2019\u00e9tape reliant Fribourg \u00e0 Romont. Comme l\u2019\u00e9tape est relativement longue et traverse, dans un premier temps, les faubourgs de Fribourg, je me suis dit qu\u2019il vaudrait peut-\u00eatre mieux partir de Villars-sur-Gl\u00e2ne. Ainsi, on commence directement \u00e0 marcher dans la nature.<\/p>

En descendant de Villars-sur-Gl\u00e2ne on atteint le pont de Sainte-Appoline qui enjambe cette rivi\u00e8re. Ce pont est magnifique car en partie constitu\u00e9 de bloc de tuf calcaire et sa construction remonte probablement au 16\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cle.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s le passage de la Gl\u00e2ne, le cheminement quitte le vallon de la Gl\u00e2ne en montant en direction du bois de Monterban. L\u00e0 encore, on se trouve sur un cheminement historique en partie en voie creuse.<\/p>

A la sortie des bois, l\u2019ambiance devient un peu plus urbaine puisque l\u2019on traverse les deux villages de Posieux et d\u2019Ecuvillens. Ces deux villages sont s\u00e9par\u00e9s par le passage de l\u2019autoroute. Je me demande si l\u2019on aurait trac\u00e9 cette autoroute de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re si elle devait \u00eatre construite maintenant.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s Ecuvillens, l\u2019a\u00e9rodrome homonyme impose un grand d\u00e9tour afin de gagner les bois. Apr\u00e8s les bois, on descend en direction de Posat, village en-dessous duquel on retraverse la Gl\u00e2ne sur un petit pont pi\u00e9ton. Sur l\u2019autre rive, on ne tarde pas \u00e0 rejoindre le village d\u2019Autigny avant de redescendre au bord de la Gl\u00e2ne pr\u00e8s de la confluence avec la Neirigue. Apr\u00e8s le pont, on remonte encore un fois en direction de Chavannes-sous-Orsonnens. D\u00e8s ce village, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire suit des routes goudronn\u00e9es qui ne sont pas ferm\u00e9es \u00e0 la circulation. On est donc parfois g\u00ean\u00e9 par la circulation.<\/p>

A Planchevret, on quitte le vallon de la Neirigue pour passer par-dessus la colline et arriver \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de Romont. Il vaut alors la peine de faire le d\u00e9tour par l\u2019Abbaye de la Fille-Dieu, car les b\u00e2timents sont extraordinaires.<\/p>

Encore une petite grimp\u00e9e et on arrive dans la magnifique cit\u00e9 m\u00e9di\u00e9vale de Romont. Il vaut alors la peine d\u2019aller jeter un petit coup d\u2019\u0153il au ch\u00e2teau et aux divers \u00e9difices historiques. En descendant en direction de la gare, on passe alors devant la majestueuse Tour du Boyer. C\u2019est elle qui se voit de loin, car elle est isol\u00e9e du reste des remparts.<\/p>
