<\/p>

Eine weitere Strecke auf der Route nach Saint-Jacques ist die, die Romont mit Moudon verbindet.<\/p>

Diese Orte haben Sie sicher schon durchquert, egal ob mit dem Auto oder der Bahn, aber es lohnt sich, diese Strecke zu Fuss zu unternehmen, denn man entdeckt die Landschaft auf eine andere Art und Weise. Ausserdem laden die beiden historischen St\u00e4dte zu einer kleinen Besichtigung ein.<\/p>

Vom Bahnhof Romont f\u00fchrt der Weg etwas ansteigend in Richtung der alten mittelalterlichen Stadt, bevor er in Richtung Industriegebiet \u00fcberquert. Nach dem Durchgang bei den Lagerh\u00e4usern geht es nicht mehr lange bergauf in Richtung Billens. In diesem Dorf angekommen, folgt die Route der Strasse in Richtung Hennens und man wird manchmal durch die Vorbeifahrt eines Autos gest\u00f6rt. Wenn man Hennens verl\u00e4sst, folgt man jedoch ruhige Landwirtschaftswegen. Man steigt dann in Richtung des H\u00fcgels auf, auf dem eine Telefonantenne steht.<\/p>

Von diesem Punkt geht die Sicht weit und man kann deutlich die Gipfel des Gantrischgebiets und der Freiburger Voralpen erkennen. Vor allem gegen Osten wird man einen kleinen, sehr abgelegenen bewaldeten Gipfel bemerken. Obwohl er nicht sehr hoch ist, l\u00e4sst sich durch seine Abgeschiedenheit das Guggershorn, der bekannte Gipfel der Schwarzenburg, eindeutig identifizieren. Weiter links sieht man auch den Turm von Ulmiz, der die Region Bern \u00fcberragt.<\/p>

Beim Abstieg durchquert man das Dorf Lovatens und man hat dann einen herrlichen Blick auf Lucens und seine Burg. Im Hintergrund erkennt man den Jura und die Gipfel von Suchet, Aiguilles de Baulmes und Chasseron. Der Abstieg geht weiter bis Curtille und ab diesem Ort ist die Route praktisch flach, da es geht nicht lange bis man der Broye entlang der Deiche folgt.<\/p>

Auf dem anderen Ufer geht man an die \u00dcberreste des experimentellen Kernkraftwerks Lucens vorbei. Diese in der Schweiz gebaute Anlage war Schauplatz eines gro\u00dfen Atomunfalls, bei dem ein Teil des Reaktorkerns schmolz. Dieser Unfall machte jeglichen Ambitionen auf eine Kernkraft aus ganz Schweizer Designs ein Ende.<\/p>

Nachdem man lange am Broye entlanggewandert ist, dauert es nicht lange, bis man Moudon erreicht, nicht ohne die Keller f\u00fcr die Reifung des Gruy\u00e8res vorbeizugehen. Auf der Landeskarte ist dieser Ort als „La Brasserie“ angegeben. Wurden die Keller einer alten Brauerei zur Lagerung von K\u00e4se umgebaut? Ich habe dazu keine zufriedenstellende Antwort gefunden.<\/p>
