<\/p>

Une autre \u00e9tape sur le chemin de Saint-Jacques est celle qui relie Romont \u00e0 Moudon.<\/p>

Beaucoup de gens sont certainement d\u00e9j\u00e0 pass\u00e9 par ces localit\u00e9s, que ce soit en voiture ou en train, mais il vaut la peine de r\u00e9aliser cette \u00e9tape \u00e0 pied, car on d\u00e9couvre autrement les paysages. De plus, les deux localit\u00e9s historiques invitent \u00e0 une petite visite.<\/p>

Au d\u00e9part de la gare de Romont, le sentier monte quelque peu en direction de l\u2019ancienne cit\u00e9 m\u00e9di\u00e9vale avant de traverser en direction de la zone industrielle. Apr\u00e8s avoir travers\u00e9 vers les entrep\u00f4ts, on ne tarde pas \u00e0 monter en direction de Billens. Arriv\u00e9 dans ce village, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire suit la route en direction de Hennens et on est parfois d\u00e9rang\u00e9 par le passage d\u2019une automobile. Toutefois, \u00e0 la sortie d\u2019Hennens, on suit des chemins agricoles peu fr\u00e9quent\u00e9s. On monte alors en direction du coteau sur lequel se dresse une antenne t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique.<\/p>

Depuis cet endroit, la vue porte loin et on distingue bien les sommets de la r\u00e9gion du Gantrisch et des Pr\u00e9alpes Fribourgeoises. En particulier, vers l\u2019est, on remarquera un petit sommet bois\u00e9 tr\u00e8s isol\u00e9. Bien qu\u2019il ne soit pas tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9, son isolement permet de bien identifier le Guggershorn, sommet connu du pays de Schwarzenburg. Plus sur la gauche, on remarquera \u00e9galement la Tour d\u2019Ulmiz, dominant la r\u00e9gion de Berne.<\/p>

Dans la descente, on traverse le village de Lovatens et on a alors une magnifique vue sur Lucens et son ch\u00e2teau. En arri\u00e8re-plan, on reconna\u00eet le Jura et les sommets du Suchet, des Aiguilles de Baulmes et du Chasseron. La descente se poursuit jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Curtille et \u00e0 partir de ce village, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire est pratiquement plat, car on ne tarde pas \u00e0 suivre la Broye le long des digues.<\/p>

Sur l\u2019autre rive, on passe devant les restes de la Centrale Nucl\u00e9aire Exp\u00e9rimentale de Lucens. Cette centrale, de conception suisse, a \u00e9t\u00e9 le th\u00e9\u00e2tre d\u2019un accident nucl\u00e9aire majeur, avec fusion d\u2019une partie du c\u0153ur du r\u00e9acteur. Cet accident a mis fin \u00e0 toute ambition de nucl\u00e9aire de conception enti\u00e8rement suisse.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s avoir long\u00e9 la Broye un bon bout, on ne tarde pas \u00e0 rejoindre Moudon, non sans avoir pass\u00e9 devant les caves d\u2019affinage du Gruy\u00e8re. La carte nationale indique \u00ab\u00a0La Brasserie\u00a0\u00bb comme nom de lieu. Les caves d\u2019une ancienne brasserie ont-elles \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9utilis\u00e9es pour le stockage du fromage\u00a0? Je n\u2019ai pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 trouver une r\u00e9ponse satisfaisante.<\/p>
