Unter den Zielen der Neuenburger Berge m\u00fcssen wir den Grat zwischen der T\u00eate de Ran und dem Mont Racine erw\u00e4hnen. Tats\u00e4chlich ist dieser Grat im Gegensatz, zu dem zwischen der Vue des Alpes und der T\u00eate de Ran nur sehr wenig mit Wald bedeckt. So geniesst maie einen unverbauten Blick auf die Alpen.<\/p>

Um sich diesem Kamm zu n\u00e4hern, lohnt es sich, die Hauptstrasse direkt unterhalb der Vue des Alpes zu verlassen und eine kleine Strasse zu folgen, die zum Parkplatz des Hotels de la T\u00eate de Ran f\u00fchrt. Da das Hotel seit etwa zehn Jahren geschlossen ist, kann man hier ohne anderes parkieren. Andererseits sollte man, auch wenn man sich damit schon auf dem Grat befindet, den gesamten H\u00f6henunterschied nicht untersch\u00e4tzen, den man \u00fcberwinden muss, um den Mont Racine zu erreichen. Tats\u00e4chlich hat der Grat ein ungleichm\u00e4ssiges Relief.<\/p>

Vom Hotelparkplatz f\u00fchrt Sie ein steiler erster Anstieg zum Gipfel des T\u00eate de Ran. Dies ist der grosse Anstieg der gesamten Wanderung entlang des Kamms (obwohl, wie erw\u00e4hnt, Aufstiege gefolgt von Abstiegen zu einem nicht zu vernachl\u00e4ssigenden Gesamth\u00f6henunterschied f\u00fchren). Die Gipfel der T\u00eate de Ran ist mit einem Skilift und einer Telefonantenne geschm\u00fcckt. Trotz dieser beiden unnat\u00fcrlichen Elemente ist die Aussicht, die man geniesst, atemberaubend. Auf der einen Seite sieht man einen Teil der Stadt La Chaux-de-Fonds (insbesondere die Stadtteile Bel-Air und Beauregard). Es gibt auch einige bemerkenswerte Gipfel des Jurakamms und insbesondere den Chasseral im Nordosten und den Chasseron im S\u00fcdwesten.<\/p>

Der Blick auf die Alpen ist markant, denn bei sch\u00f6nem Wetter sieht man im Osten das Alpstein- und das Gl\u00e4rnischmassiv. Auch links von den Zentralschweizer Voralpen erscheint die Gestalt des Pilatus mit dem erkennbaren Gipfel des Gross Spannort. Dann kommen die Urner Alpen mit insbesondere dem Sustenhorn und dem Gw\u00e4chtenhorn. Die drei ber\u00fchmten Gipfel der Berner Alpen sind gut sichtbar, ganz zu schweigen von den weniger bekannten Gipfeln des Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn und Finsteraarhorn. In Richtung S\u00fcdwesten kann man einen Teil der Gipfel des Haut Chablais sehen, insbesondere die Cornettes de Bise und die Dent d’Oche, die alle vom Mont Blanc \u00fcberragt sind. Weiter ist der Gipfel der Pointe Perc\u00e9e gut zu erkennen, der sich im Aravis-Massiv befindet.<\/p>

Von der T\u00eate de Ran aus muss man ein wenig absteigen, um gegen\u00fcber in einem Wald aufzusteigen, den man vor der Pouet-Carre nicht verl\u00e4sst. Kurz nach Verlassen des Waldes hat man einen etwas freieren Blick auf die Vall\u00e9e des Ponts. An dieser Stelle kann man auch einen Weg folgen, der zum Chalet des Neigeux f\u00fchrt.<\/p>

Nach einem unregelm\u00e4ssigen Abschnitt n\u00e4hert man sich nach einem Abstieg der Loge des Pradi\u00e8res-Dessus. Dieser Chalet-Ausschank, der einst vom CAS verwaltet wurde, wird heute von der Association Friends of Mont Racine verwaltet, einer Vereinigung, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, das Landschaftserbe von Mont Racine zu sch\u00fctzen.<\/p>

Von den Grandes Pradi\u00e8res aus ist das Ziel klar erkennbar, da auf dem Gipfel des Mont Racine ein geod\u00e4tisches Signal errichtet ist. Es geht dann darum, den letzten Hang hinaufzusteigen, um diesen Gipfel zu erreichen.<\/p>

Da die Grandes Pradi\u00e8res auch ein Schie\u00dfstand sind, sollten man sich \u00fcber die Schiesstermine informieren, besonders wenn man unter der Woche auf den Gipfel will.<\/p>

F\u00fcr den R\u00fcckweg empfehle ich, zur Loge des Pradi\u00e8res-Dessus zur\u00fcckzukehren und den Waldweg zu nehmen, der unter den Rochers Bruns hindurchf\u00fchrt. Nach einem kurzen Anstieg erreicht man dann Weiden, die man duchquert, um das Chalet des Neigeux zu erreichen. Von dort aus f\u00fchrt der markierte Weg unter dem Kamm hindurch zum Parkplatz des Hotels T\u00eate de Ran.<\/p>
