C\u2019est une belle destination de randonn\u00e9e en montagne que je propose ici. Elle est d\u2019autant plus belle qu\u2019elle passe \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019endroits embl\u00e9matiques et surprenants. Comme \u00e0 l\u2019accoutum\u00e9e, je privil\u00e9gie autant que faire se peut l\u2019utilisation des transports en commun et cette randonn\u00e9e n\u2019\u00e9chappe pas \u00e0 la r\u00e8gle.<\/p>

Depuis la gare du Locle, il s\u2019agit d\u2019abord de gagner le fond de la Combe Girard. Pour cela, je recommande de ne pas gagner la rue principale, beaucoup trop fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e. Au lieu de cela, il vaut la peine de suivre la Grande-Rue et la rue du Cr\u00eat Vaillant. Ce faisant, on traverse alors un magnifique ancien quartier de la ville.<\/p>

Peu apr\u00e8s \u00eatre rentr\u00e9 dans la Combe Girard, il s\u2019agit d\u2019emprunter un sentier d\u00e9butant de mani\u00e8re assez raide (le sentier didactique, en fait). Apr\u00e8s \u00eatre mont\u00e9 la c\u00f4te et lorsque l\u2019on arrive en vue du quartier de la Joux P\u00e9lichet, il faut prendre \u00e0 gauche un bon chemin forestier. On ne tarde pas alors de rejoindre une curieuse construction en pleine for\u00eat. Il s\u2019agit de la tour d\u2019\u00e9lan de l\u2019ancien tremplin de saut \u00e0 ski de la Combe Girard. Ce tremplin a vu le d\u00e9roulement de comp\u00e9titions de renomm\u00e9e internationale, comme la Tourn\u00e9e des 4 Tremplins. Construit en 1932, il ne r\u00e9pondait plus aux normes des tremplins moderne et a vu le d\u00e9roulement de la derni\u00e8re comp\u00e9tition en 1987 (il faut se rappeler qu\u2019Engelberg a d\u00fb investir massivement afin de rendre le tremplin aux normes).<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s la tour du tremplin, on suit un autre chemin forestier d\u00e9bouchant pr\u00e8s du camping et des terrains de sport du Locle (avec notamment la patinoire qui est r\u00e9put\u00e9e \u00eatre la plus froide de la r\u00e9gion). Au-del\u00e0 du terrain de sport, on rejoint le sentier balis\u00e9 qui se divise en deux plus haut\u00a0: l\u2019embranchement de gauche part en direction de la Sagne et celui de droite monte au Sommartel. C\u2019est ce dernier qu\u2019il s\u2019agit de suivre.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s une mont\u00e9e on traverse les p\u00e2turages des Jean-d\u2019H\u00f4taux pour rejoindre une autre for\u00eat sur une cr\u00eate dominant la cuvette d\u2019Entre Deux Monts. Plus loin, on passe sous un t\u00e9l\u00e9ski et on ne tarde pas \u00e0 passer pr\u00e8s de la ferme-restaurant du Petit Sommartel, tr\u00e8s couru pour ses diverses sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s, comme du reste pour la ferme-restaurant suivante de la Petite Joux.<\/p>

La Petite Joux d\u00e9pass\u00e9e, on suit encore un moment la cr\u00eate avant de descendre de mani\u00e8re de plus en plus raide dans la Pouette Combe. Le parcours de cette combe, m\u00eame si son nom n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s engageant (Pou\u00ebt signifiant \u00ab\u00a0pourri\u00a0\u00bb) vaut la peine car on passe alors sous des balmes de dimensions impressionnantes. Plus bas, au sortir de la combe, une tour a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9nag\u00e9e afin de permettre d\u2019avoir une vue d\u00e9gag\u00e9e sur le village des Ponts de Martel. Au fond, on ne manquera pas de remarquer les rochers du Creux du Van.<\/p>
