Das Wanderziel Surenenpass wurde schon oft beschrieben. Wir k\u00f6nnen daher auf die verschiedenen Artikel verweisen, die bereits vorhanden sind. Ich werde jedoch nicht m\u00fcde, diesen Pass regelm\u00e4ssig zu \u00fcberqueren und damit mein Abenteuer zu beschreiben.<\/p>

Die Pass\u00fcberquerung von Engelberg nach Altdorf ist ein dicker Brocken f\u00fcr alle, die tags\u00fcber es vorhaben. Es dauert tats\u00e4chlich mehr als 7 Stunden zu Fuss f\u00fcr eine Entfernung von fast 35 km und einen H\u00f6henunterschied von 1500 m. Es ist daher vorzuziehen, die Wanderung in zwei Teile zu unternehmen. Man kann durchaus in Engelberg schlafen und mit dem ersten Bus und die erste Seilbahn nach F\u00fcrenalp fahren. Man kann auch auf der Alm \u00fcbernachten. Die M\u00f6glichkeit, die sich dann ergibt, ist in der H\u00fctte Hohbiel zu \u00fcbernachten. Diese H\u00fctte verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einige Schlafzimmer und einen grossen Schlafsaal. Es ist sehr rustikal, aber es ist eine Reise wert. Der Vorteil ist, dass damit die Wanderung zwischen F\u00fcrenalp und Pass ca. eine Stunde k\u00fcrzer wird.<\/p>

Von Hohbiel aus folgt man einem fast flachen St\u00fcck Weg, der zu den St\u00e4uberfall (auch Stierenbach genannt) f\u00fchrt. Nach der Br\u00fccke \u00fcber den Wildbach und einem kurzen Anstieg quert man zur Alp Blacken. Von der Blackenalp aus f\u00e4ngt das Ernsthafte erst richtig an. Ein guter Pfad steigt durch den Hang unterhalb des Blackenstocks an, um eine etwas flachere Stelle direkt unterhalb der Schutzh\u00fctte und unterhalb des Passes zu erreichen.<\/p>

Auf der anderen Seite des Passes l\u00e4sst dich ein verschlungener Pfad schnell an H\u00f6he verlieren. Trotz der Tatsache, dass die Mountainbikes die Strecke erheblich besch\u00e4digt haben, ist es immer noch recht einfach, die Ideallinie zu finden. Etwas weiter unten, in einer Rechtskurve unter einem Felsriegel, beginnt eine Spur eines Pfades, der durch die gesamte Ger\u00f6llhalde unter dem Brunnistock quert. Ich bevorzuge diese Variante, obwohl es zu Saisonbeginn problematische Schneefelder geben kann und es nicht darum geht, bei der \u00dcberquerung zu lang anzuhalten, wegen Steinschlag. Aber damit muss man nicht auf den kleinen Pass beim Angistock aufsteigen.<\/p>

Weiter entwickelt sich der Weg entlang eines Grates, von dem aus den Aussichtspunkten auf den Urnersee immer h\u00e4ufiger werden. Entlang des Grates kommen wir nicht umhin, am Geissr\u00fcggen vorbeizukommen, einem Ort, an dem Ausgrabungen \u00dcberreste aus der Zeit der Hallstatt-Zivilisation (sp\u00e4te Bronze) zu Tage gef\u00f6rdert haben.<\/p>

Weiter unten, beim Chr\u00e4ienh\u00f6reli, erinnert uns ein steiler Anstieg daran, dass man die Bergstation der Br\u00fcstibahn noch nicht ganz erreicht hat.<\/p>
