Ich hatte schon lange von den Gorges du Taubenloch geh\u00f6rt, entweder privat oder nach tragischen Ereignissen. Also musste ich mir das genauer anschauen. Zudem war mir bei der Durchreise durch Biel oft die Montagne de Boujean (B\u00f6zingenberg) aufgefallen und ich sagte mir, dass der Standpunkt interessant sein muss. So entschied ich mich f\u00fcr die \u00dcberquerung von Biel nach Granges, durch die Schluchten und dann \u00fcber den Berg.<\/p>

Vom Bahnhof Biel aus folgt man den Hauptverkehrsadern der Stadt, um die Suze (oder Sch\u00fcss) zu erreichen. Dieser Fluss ist kanalisiert und am Anfang gerade. Aber die Fussg\u00e4ngereinrichtungen machen es zu einem sehr angenehmen Spaziergang. Weiter oben erreicht man grosse Schleusen, die das Wasser der Suze in drei Kan\u00e4le teilen sollen. Zwei dieser Kan\u00e4le dienten dem Antrieb von R\u00e4dern f\u00fcr die Industrie (Drahtwalzwerk, Uhrmacherei, Mechanik) oder der Wasserversorgung f\u00fcr handwerkliche T\u00e4tigkeiten (Gerbereien, indische Fabriken, Seifenfabriken). Die Kan\u00e4le sind geblieben, aber die Einrichtungen zur Wassernutzung sind verschwunden: Es ist jetzt einfacher, eine Maschine an das Stromnetz anzuschliessen.<\/p>

Weiter oben folgt man die Suze durch ein k\u00fcrzlich renaturiertes Gebiet. Die Einrichtungen sind sch\u00f6n, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich hier wohnen m\u00f6chte: Es gibt einige Kanalabschnitte, in denen das Wasser stagniert, und das muss im Sommer zu einem M\u00fcckenfest beitragen.<\/p>

Weiter, und nachdem man die Hauptstrasse \u00fcberquert haben, beginnt der Ernst: man betretet die Gorges du Taubenloch (oder Taubenlochschlucht). Man befindet sich in einer tiefen Schlucht, durch die die Hauptstrasse, die Transjuranne und der Zug f\u00fchren. Man w\u00fcrde daher erwarten, unter Verkehrsl\u00e4rm zu leiden. In Wirklichkeit ist es ertr\u00e4glich: Die Strassen und die Bahnlinie liegen weiter oben und das Rauschen des Wassers \u00fcbert\u00f6nt den ganzen Verkehrsl\u00e4rm. Lediglich in Frinvillier wird es deutlich lauter, weil man n\u00e4her an den Kommunikationswegen kommt und das Wasser viel ruhiger ist.<\/p>

Von Frinvillier folgte ich dem Weg nach Haut du Mont und B\u00f6zingenberg. Es war nicht die richtige Wahl: Im \u201eDynamic Test Center\u201c wurden sehr laute Tests durchgef\u00fchrt. Es w\u00e4re wahrscheinlich besser gewesen, ein St\u00fcck der Strasse zu folgen, um einen Waldweg zu nehmen, der zur Montagne de Boujean f\u00fchrt. Von diesem Ort aus, der eine sch\u00f6ne Aussicht auf Biel und die umliegenden Gipfel bietet, folgte ich dem Grat \u00fcber La Bergerie, um Romont BE zu erreichen. Von hier aus gelangt man \u00fcber einen letzten kleinen Anstieg auf den Neuban an den Rand eines Steinbruchs. Man braucht nicht lange, um nach Granges abzusteigen.<\/p>
