Sollten wir La Neuve oder A Neuve sagen? Ich konnte keine plausible Erkl\u00e4rung finden. Auf jeden Fall ist der direkt neben diesem Chalet gelegene Gipfel einen kleinen Abstecher wert, denn er ist \u00fcberraschend. Wenn man den Cr\u00eat de la Neuve erklimmt, wird die Aussicht oft von den B\u00e4umen verdeckt und man verzweifelt daran, den Genfersee und die Alpen betrachten zu k\u00f6nnen. Erst auf den letzten Metern gelangt man \u00fcber die Baumwipfel hinaus und die Sicht ist v\u00f6llig klar. Aufgrund dieser Aussicht ist es ein ziemlich belebter Gipfel.<\/p>

Von Saint-George aus gibt es mehrere M\u00f6glichkeiten, aber die einfachste besteht darin, der Strasse zum Eiskeller zu folgen und dann einen ziemlich steilen Waldweg zu nehmen. Man findet dann eine vage gr\u00fcne Markierung. Wenn man diese folgt, kommt man an \u00fcberraschenden und ganz anderen Orten vorbei, als wenn man dem offiziell markierten Weg folgt.<\/p>

Am Petit Pr\u00e9 de Rolle angekommen, folgt man dem offiziellen Weg bis zur Lichtung unter dem Gipfel. Anschliessend kann man den steilen Hang unterhalb des Gipfels erklimmen. Es dauert dann nicht lange, bis man an der runden Mauer ankommt, an der ein Orientierungstisch befestigt ist. Es lohnt sich auch, zum Gipfel selbst zu gehen, der sich hinter der Orientierungstafel (wo sich das Kreuz befindet) befindet.<\/p>

F\u00fcr den Abstieg hatte ich mich daf\u00fcr entschieden, der Strasse \u00fcber Les Frasses zu folgen. In einer Kurve muss man nur noch eine weitere Strasse links nehmen, die zur\u00fcck zur Strasse zum Eiskeller und weiter zum Parkplatz f\u00fchrt.<\/p>
