Magglingen ist f\u00fcr mich eine alte Bekannte, wegen der Eidgen\u00f6ssischen Sporthochschule. Ich hatte dort einige Trainingsaufenthalte verbracht, als ich viel j\u00fcnger war. Ich weiss also, dass das Panorama, das man von diesem Ort aus hat, besonders von der Terrasse des Hauptgeb\u00e4udes, absolut wundersch\u00f6n ist. Man muss sagen, dass man sich hoch genug \u00fcber dem Plateau befindet und praktisch den mythischen Gipfeln der Berner Alpen gegen\u00fcbersteht.<\/p>

Magglingen ist von Biel aus leicht zu erreichen, da eine Standseilbahn nicht weit zu den alten Verwaltungsgeb\u00e4uden der Hochschule f\u00fchrt. Aufgrund der Aussicht und der guten Erreichbarkeit ist dieser Ort ein idealer Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr Wanderungen. Man kann zum Beispiel die Hohmatt hinaufsteigen und \u00fcber die Pr\u00e9s de Macolin die Montagne de Diesse erreichen. Das habe ich im Januar getan.<\/p>

Hier sind wir jedoch dem Weg gefolgt, der von den alten Verwaltungsgeb\u00e4uden am Hang zum Twannberg f\u00fchrt. Hier und da hat man sch\u00f6ne Aussichten auf das Hochplateau. Die Tatsache, dass man sich gr\u00f6sstenteils durch Wald bewegt, schr\u00e4nkt die Sicht jedoch ein wenig ein. Es lohnt sich also, wie in unserem Fall, diese Wanderung im Fr\u00fchling zu unternehmen, bevor die Knospen der B\u00e4ume aufgebrochen sind.<\/p>

Wenn man nach Twannberg kommt, kommt man an einem futuristisch aussehenden Ferienzentrum vorbei. Es handelt sich um ein Zentrum, das in den 80er Jahren f\u00fcr Behinderte im Urlaub gebaut wurde. Es ist jetzt m\u00f6glich, einen Teil des Zentrums zu mieten.<\/p>

Etwas weiter geht es auf einem wundersch\u00f6n gepflasterten Weg hinunter. Selbst wenn man Spurrinnen auf den Steinen sieht, sieht es so aus, als ob das Pflaster nicht sehr weit zur\u00fcck reicht.<\/p>

Weiter kommt man an einer alten M\u00fchle vorbei, die jetzt eine Glash\u00fctte umfasst, in der man lernen kann, mit geschmolzenem Glas umzugehen.<\/p>

Nachdem man den Twannbach \u00fcberquert hat, folgt man zun\u00e4chst einem St\u00fcck Forstweg (offiziell „Lamboingstrasse“ genannt) und folgt an einer Abzweigung einem Weg, der sich dem Bach n\u00e4hert. Dann kann man am besten dem Bach folgen, da die Klamm sicher durchquert werden kann. Am Ende der Schlucht befindet sich eine kleine H\u00fctte, in der Sie einen kleinen Betrag f\u00fcr den Durchgang (und den Unterhalt) des Weges der Schlucht bezahlen m\u00fcssen.<\/p>

Nach einem steilen Abstieg und der Durchquerung des alten Dorfes Twann, dauert es nicht lange, bis man den Bahnhof erreicht.<\/p>
