<\/p>

La cha\u00eene du Jura contient quelques endroits magnifiques et souvent peu connus des habitants de Suisse Romande. Ici, on se trouve un peu plus au nord-est, \u00e0 la limite du Jura Tabulaire, dans la vall\u00e9e de la D\u00fcnnern. Cette rivi\u00e8re, prenant sa source pr\u00e8s de Welschenrohr, traverse d\u2019abord le Thal pour franchir ensuite la cluse pr\u00e8s de Balsthal. Elle suit ensuite le pied du Jura pour se jeter dans l\u2019Aar \u00e0 Olten.<\/p>

Le Thal (la vall\u00e9e), a d\u00e9sormais le statut de parc naturel r\u00e9gional qui couvre toute la vall\u00e9e jusque sur les cr\u00eates. M\u00eame si le fond de la vall\u00e9e est assez urbanis\u00e9, les montagnes environnantes offrent des possibilit\u00e9s int\u00e9ressantes pour des randonn\u00e9es. De plus, dans cette partie du Jura, il est fr\u00e9quent de trouver des fermes en altitude occup\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e et qui proposent de pouvoir se sustenter. Il n\u2019est donc pas toujours n\u00e9cessaire de prendre un pique-nique. Attention toutefois, car les plats peuvent \u00eatre parfois tr\u00e8s copieux.<\/p>

Au d\u00e9part de Welschenrohr il vaut la peine de grimper un peu pour atteindre la Sollmatt. Cela permet d\u2019\u00e9viter de suivre la route tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e. A la Sollmatt on rencontrera des cl\u00f4tures inhabituellement solides\u00a0: en effet, on \u00e9l\u00e8ve des bisons \u00e0 cet endroit. Apr\u00e8s avoir pass\u00e9 les derni\u00e8res cl\u00f4tures, on descend lentement en direction de la Hammer-Allmend avant de plonger de mani\u00e8re assez raide vers la route. De l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de celle-ci, on trouve le sentier ne tardant pas \u00e0 remonter une gorge encaiss\u00e9e\u00a0: la Wolfsschlucht.<\/p>

Au lieu de suivre de mani\u00e8re fid\u00e8le la gorge, il vaut la peine de la quitter pour atteindre la prairie de Chuematt et, plus loin, la Obere Tannmatt. De cet endroit on a une tr\u00e8s belle vue sur tout le Thal. On distingue au loin la localit\u00e9 de Balsthal. Il faut alors fournir encore un petit effort pour rejoindre la cr\u00eate dominant la Tannmatt, avant de descendre sur la ferme de Mieschegg. On passe alors devant une tr\u00e8s belle petite chapelle avant de longer une lisi\u00e8re de for\u00eat.<\/p>

Arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 un petit col, pr\u00e8s de B\u00fcx, il faut encore monter un peu pour passer une autre bosse et rejoindre la ferme de la Hinter Brandegg. Plus loin, on ne tarde pas \u00e0 descendre de mani\u00e8re assez raide en for\u00eat pour passer sous l\u2019impressionnante vo\u00fbte du B\u00e4renloch<\/p>
