Die Jura-Kette birgt einige wundersch\u00f6ne, den Westschweizerinnen und Westschweizern oft wenig bekannte Orte. Hier liegt man etwas weiter nord\u00f6stlich, am Rande des tafelf\u00f6rmigen Juras, im Tal der D\u00fcnnern. Dieser Bach entspringt beim Welschenrohr, durchquert zuerst das Thal und durchquert anschliessend bei Balsthal die Klus. Danach folgt sie dem Fuss des Juras und m\u00fcndet bei Olten in die Aare.<\/p>

Das Thal (Tal) hat nun den Status eines regionalen Naturparks, der sich \u00fcber das gesamte Tal bis zu den K\u00e4mmen erstreckt. Obwohl der Talgrund ziemlich urbanisiert ist, bieten die umliegenden Berge interessante Wanderm\u00f6glichkeiten. Ausserdem findet man in diesem Teil des Juras h\u00e4ufig H\u00f6fe in den hochgelegenen Regionen, die das ganze Jahr \u00fcber gut bewirtet sind und etwas f\u00fcr den Lebensunterhalt bieten. Ein Picknick ist also nicht immer n\u00f6tig. Vorsicht, denn die Speisen k\u00f6nnen teilweise sehr \u00fcppig sein.<\/p>

Vom Welschenrohr aus lohnt es sich, einen kleinen Aufstieg auf die Sollmatt zu machen. So man die stark befahrene Strasse nicht folgen. An der Sollmatt trifft man auf ungew\u00f6hnlich starke Z\u00e4une, da hier Wisent gez\u00fcchtet werden. Nachdem man die letzten Z\u00e4une passiert hat, geht es langsam bergab in Richtung Hammer-Allmend, bevor man ziemlich steil in Richtung Strasse abtaucht. Auf der anderen Seite der Strasse findet man den Weg, der nicht lange in eine Schlucht f\u00fchrt: die Wolfsschlucht.<\/p>

Anstatt der Schlucht treu zu folgen, lohnt es sich, sie zu verlassen und auf die Chuemattwiese und weiter auf die Obere Tannmatt zu gelangen. Von dieser Stelle aus hat man einen sehr sch\u00f6nen Blick auf das ganze Thal. In der Ferne erkennt man die Ortschaft Balsthal. Es ist noch ein wenig Kraftanstrengung n\u00f6tig, um auf den Kamm \u00fcber der Tannmatt zu gelangen, bevor es hinunter zum Bauernhof Mieschegg geht. Anschliessend kommt man an einer sehr sch\u00f6nen kleinen Kapelle vorbei, bevor man einen Waldrand entlanggeht.<\/p>

An einem kleinen Pass bei B\u00fcx angekommen, geht es noch ein St\u00fcck hinauf, um einen weiteren Buckel zu \u00fcberwinden und zum Bauernhof Hinter Brandegg zu gelangen. Bald geht es steil in den Wald hinunter, um unter dem eindr\u00fccklichen B\u00e4renloch zu gelangen.<\/p>
