Die Jurakette, am unteren Ende des Vallon de Saint-Imier, weist eine recht komplexe Morphologie auf. Die Sch\u00fcss, die bis Sombeval ziemlich gerade verl\u00e4uft, durchquert zwei Klusen, bevor sie in B\u00f6zingen m\u00fcndet. Dies f\u00fchrt dazu, dass die ersten Ausl\u00e4ufer des Jura, die das schweizerische Flachland \u00fcberragen, nicht unbedingt die besten Ausblicke auf die Alpen bieten. Im Gegenteil zur kleinen Kette, die entlang des Tavannetals verl\u00e4uft. Von Montoz und vom Werdtberg aus hat man einen sch\u00f6nen Blick auf das Plateau und die weitere Jurakette.<\/p>

Von Malleray aus wanderten wir zuerst nach B\u00e9vilard, bevor wir den steilen Anstieg zur Kamm H\u00f6he in Angriff nahmen. Der Pfad ist stellenweise recht steil und folgt zun\u00e4chst eine Asphaltstrasse, bevor er durch den Wald weiterf\u00fchrt. Wenn man auf die Weidefl\u00e4chen ankommt, lohnt es sich, ein St\u00fcck abzuzweigen, um den Gipfel von Montoz zu erreichen. Obwohl der Gipfel teilweise bewaldet ist, bietet er einen guten Blick nach Osten.<\/p>

Wenn man dem markierten Pfad in westlicher Richtung folgt, kommt man bald an der M\u00e9tairie de Malleray und der Auberge Werdtberg vorbei. Von hier aus hat man einen guten Blick auf den Chasseral. Dieser wird allerdings durch die Anwesenheit des Steinbruchs Tscharner, der von der Zementfabrik Reuchenette genutzt wird, etwas verderbt.<\/p>

Von Werdtberg aus sind wir nach Tavannes hinuntergewandert und haben dort die Birse-Quelle besucht, anstatt den Zug zu nehmen. Von der Birse-Quelle aus lohnt es sich, ein St\u00fcck weit der alten Strasse zum Col de Pierre Pertuis hinaufzugehen. Dort kommt man unter dem Torbogen hindurch, der zum Teil nat\u00fcrlich ist und dem der Name des Passes entstammt. Auf dem Torbogen ist eine r\u00f6mische Inschrift angebracht, die auf die damalige Bedeutung des Passes hinweist.<\/p>

Ich erinnere mich, dass ich als Kind im Winter oft im Radio die Aufforderung h\u00f6rte, beim \u00dcberqueren des Col de Pierre Pertuis Schneeketten zu verwenden. Durch den Klimawandel und die selteneren Schneef\u00e4lle sowie die Er\u00f6ffnung der Transjurane ist diese Empfehlung nicht mehr aktuell.<\/p>

Im Abstieg vom Col de Pierre Pertuis folgt man f\u00fcr kurze Zeit der Bahnlinie, die nach dem Tunnel entlang des Hanges verl\u00e4uft und dann in einer weiten Kurve wieder zum Bahnhof Sonceboz-Sombeval zur\u00fcckkehrt.<\/p>
