<\/p>

A long time ago, we had crossed the Grenchenberg starting from Moutier but had not gone up to Graitery first. Instead, we had gone through the Gorges de Court to reach the town of Court. Unfortunately, the Graitery tunnel on the Transjurane route was not open then. As a result, all traffic from Pierre Pertuis to Del\u00e9mont had to go through the Gorges de Court Gorges. Even though the trail through the gorges is picturesque and varied, the noise of the traffic spoilt the experience.<\/p>

In the meantime, the Transjurane has been opened and we were curious to see if the conditions were the same as before.<\/p>

We therefore went to Moutier to start our hike. At the beginning, we had to cross several neighborhoods of Moutier to reach a small valley under the Banbois de P\u00e9rouse. This small valley allows us to avoid the Birse, which is nice because we do not have to follow the still quite busy road. After this passage, a small climb followed by a descent leads to the Birse. We then follow the Birse (as well as the road and the railway line) while crossing the river twice.<\/p>

From Court, we did not really want to go through the Pr\u00e9 Richard, because on our last visit, the Sous Pr\u00e9 Richard pasture was occupied by a herd of cows with bulls. That is why we took the left trail at the 1083m signpost, which follows a short stretch of road and crosses a small pasture. From there, we followed the marked trail to the Bluai.<\/p>

As we have often hiked from the Bluai to the Obergrenchenberg and then down through the \u00c4ngiloch, we thought it would be interesting to change the route and go down towards W\u00e4smeli and the Stierenberg. This way, we avoid having to go through the whole town of Grenchen, because we arrive almost directly at Grenchen Nord station.<\/p>
