Dans mon enfance, nous avions gravi le Napf sous une pluie battante, dans le cadre d\u2019une course d\u2019\u00e9cole. Il \u00ab\u00a0pleuvait des hallebardes\u00a0\u00bb comme on disait alors. Inutile de dire que nous n\u2019avions pas du tout profit\u00e9 de la vue puisqu\u2019une fois arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019auberge d\u2019altitude, nous nous sommes mis \u00e0 l\u2019abri en attendant que \u00e7a veuille bien se calmer. Inutile de dire que l\u2019exp\u00e9rience avait \u00e9t\u00e9 un peu d\u00e9cevante.<\/p>

En automne 2024, mon regard avait \u00e9t\u00e9 accroch\u00e9 quelques temps avant par une publicit\u00e9 dans les trains de la BLS. Cette publicit\u00e9 parlait de \u00ab\u00a0Wanderbus\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 destination de quelques points de d\u00e9part de randonn\u00e9es difficilement atteignables en temps normal. La Mettlenalp, en particulier, est difficilement accessible en transports publics. C\u2019est ainsi que nous nous \u00e9tions dit qu\u2019il serait int\u00e9ressant de profiter de cette offre, d\u2019autant plus que peu de temps apr\u00e8s, la saison serait finie.<\/p>

Depuis le terminus du bus, le sentier grimpe au Napf en suivant d\u2019abord un petit torrent et en commen\u00e7ant apr\u00e8s \u00e0 d\u00e9crire beaucoup de lacets. Au bout de 300m de d\u00e9nivellation, on arrive \u00e0 un petit pr\u00e9 dans lequel se trouve le restaurant du Napf. La vue depuis le sommet est panoramique et on peut aussi bien voir le Jura que les Alpes. Les Pr\u00e9alpes de Suisse Centrale ne sont pas tr\u00e8s loin non plus.<\/p>

Au lieu de redescendre \u00e0 la Mettlenalp, nous avions d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de nous rendre \u00e0 pied \u00e0 Sch\u00fcpfheim, dans l\u2019Entlebuch. La raison est que nous pouvions nous attendre \u00e0 de meilleures correspondances avec les trains. Nous avons donc suivi toute la cr\u00eate en forme de fer \u00e0 cheval avant de bifurquer le long d\u2019une autre cr\u00eate en direction de Hofarni. Ce faisant, nous avions la possibilit\u00e9 de descendre \u00e0 Fontanne. Depuis l\u00e0, il nous a fallu monter encore un peu pour atteindre le petit col de l\u2019Oberstaldenegg.<\/p>

La descente vers Sch\u00fcpfheim se fait \u00e0 travers des pr\u00e9s et des for\u00eats en pente relativement douce. En traversant l\u2019Entlebuch en automobile, on a l\u2019impression que les pentes sont beaucoup plus raides que cela.<\/p>
