Wir hatten vom Creux de Glace als K\u00e4se-Spezialit\u00e4t aus Corg\u00e9mont geh\u00f6rt, aber wir wussten nichts von seiner Existenz. Wir hatten im Herbst die Absicht gehabt, auf den Chasseral zu gehen, aber um ein wenig Abwechslung zu haben, hatten wir uns entschlossen, vom Hotel Chasseral aus einer Rundtour \u00fcber den Gipfel zu machen. Als wir uns die Karte genauer angeschaut hatten, stellten wir fest, dass es einen Weg gibt, der genau das, was wir vorhatten, abdeckt: den Chasseralweg.<\/p>

Vom Parkplatz des Hotels Chasseral aus sind wir zuerst in Richtung Pr\u00e9 aux Auges abgestiegen. Da wir ganz im Schatten waren und der Herbst schon weit fortgeschritten war, war es ziemlich kalt. Erst weiter unten, beim Pr\u00e9 aux Auges, haben wir wieder die Sonne gefunden. Dies ist die erste flache Ebene, die sich oberhalb des sehr steilen Combe Gr\u00e8de befindet. Diesmal sind wir jedoch nicht in die Combe Gr\u00e8de abgestiegen, sondern sind auf einem Weg entlang der Felswand weitergegangen. Auch wenn es recht luftig ist, ist der Felsband, auf dem man sich befindet, recht breit. Trotzdem muss man darauf achten, dass man keine Steine hinunterst\u00f6sst, da sich der Weg in die Combe Gr\u00e8de direkt darunter befindet.<\/p>

Weiter haben wir die weiten, flachen Weidefl\u00e4chen von Limes und M\u00e9tairie de Meuringue erreicht. Der Name dieser M\u00e9tairie erinnert an die Meringue, eine sehr bekannte S\u00fcssspeise. Dies ist jedoch ein Irrtum: Der Name hat mit dem Dorf M\u00f6rigen am Bielersee zu tun.<\/p>

Ein St\u00fcck weiter haben wir ein Schild zum Creux de Glace gesehen. Auch wenn es ein kleiner Umweg ist, lohnt es sich, ihn zu besuchen. So sind wir zum Eingang dieser H\u00f6hle gegangen, die fr\u00fcher dazu benutzt wurde, den in den M\u00e9tairies hergestellten K\u00e4se zu k\u00fchlen, bevor er ins Tal hinuntergebracht wurde. Nach dem Creux de Glace sind wir weiter abgestiegen und haben ein kleines Tal erreicht, das hinauf zur M\u00e9tairie du Milieu f\u00fchrt. Von dort aus sind wir auf dem Weg hinauf zur Vacherie de Nods und zu Les Roches, die sich in der N\u00e4he des Chasseralgipfels befinden. Dort war der Kontrast sehr stark: Wir waren bis dahin praktisch allein gewandert und pl\u00f6tzlich befanden wir uns an einem recht frequentierten Ort.<\/p>
