<\/p>

La cascade du Pichoux (\u00e0 ne pas confondre avec les Gorges du Pichoux, travers\u00e9es par la Sorne) est une des plus haute cascade du Jura. Elle se trouve derri\u00e8re le village P\u00e9ry, en montant en direction de Montoz. Cette cascade assez confidentielle (on ne trouve pas beaucoup de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences la concernant) est facilement accessible depuis P\u00e9ry en suivant un chemin forestier. La cascade est aliment\u00e9e par le ruisseau du Pichoux dont la source se trouve un peu plus haut et vaut \u00e9galement une visite.<\/p>

Partis de la gare de Reuchenette-P\u00e9ry, nous avions suivi le sentier balis\u00e9 qui passe d\u2019abord au pied des ruines de Ch\u00e2tillon avant de traverser le village de P\u00e9ry. Au sortir du village, nous avions suivi encore un bout de la Via Jura jusqu\u2019au moment o\u00f9 on devrait traverser le Pichoux. A cet endroit, un chemin se d\u00e9tache pour suivre le ruisseau et arriver au pied de la cascade. Pour continuer \u00e0 monter, nous avions suivi un autre sentier passant au-dessus de la cascade en franchissant un petit passage expos\u00e9. Plus haut, nous avions rejoint le chemin carrossable menant au fond du vallon, en dessous de La Talvonne. Au fond du vallon, il vaut la peine de monter encore pour atteindre la source du Pichoux, dont l\u2019eau sort d\u2019une petite cavit\u00e9.<\/p>

Pour la suite de la mont\u00e9e, nous avions suivi le chemin montant \u00e0 La Talvonne. Au-dessus de cette maison isol\u00e9e, on trouve assez facilement le sentier indiqu\u00e9 sur la carte qui contourne la bosse et revient vers les p\u00e2turages se trouvant sous la Cabane du Ski Club de La Heutte, o\u00f9 on retrouve un sentier balis\u00e9. Ce sentier monte \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel de Werdtberg (\u00e9galement nomm\u00e9 M\u00e9tairie de Werdt).<\/p>

Depuis l\u2019h\u00f4tel, nous avions continu\u00e9 le long du sentier balis\u00e9 pour bifurquer sur celui qui descend vers Ch\u00e2tillon et Sonceboz. La descente se d\u00e9roule \u00e0 travers des p\u00e2turages au d\u00e9but, avant de rejoindre la large c\u00f4te descendant vers Sonceboz. Au bout de la c\u00f4te on est contraint de longer un bout de la Transjurane, avant de suivre la route du Col de Pierre-Pertuis pour atteindre le centre du village et la gare.<\/p>
