<\/p>

Parmi les belles travers\u00e9es \u00e0 effectuer dans le Jura, il vaut la peine de mentionner celle qui conduit depuis le Val de Travers \u00e0 Ste-Croix en passant par le sommet du Chasseron. Cette randonn\u00e9e part depuis M\u00f4tiers, magnifique petite bourgade, et commence par monter le long du torrent du Breuil avant de traverser les Gorges de Pou\u00ebtta Raisse. La suite traverse alors une succession de p\u00e2turages et de for\u00eats pour atteindre le sommet du Chasseron. Ce qui est surprenant dans cette travers\u00e9e, c\u2019est que malgr\u00e9 la d\u00e9nivellation importante, on a peu d\u2019endroits o\u00f9 on pourrait se d\u00e9courager \u00e0 cause des mont\u00e9es.<\/p>

Ce jour-l\u00e0, nous \u00e9tions partis t\u00f4t, craignant la chaleur. Cela nous a \u00e9galement permis de pouvoir parcourir la Pou\u00ebtta Raisse sans rencontrer personne. En temps normal, et \u00e0 d\u2019autres heures, on a parfois de la peine de pouvoir croiser sur les tron\u00e7ons tr\u00e8s \u00e9troits du sentier. En quittant les gorges, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9, comme \u00e0 chaque fois, surpris par le contraste. On passe en effet en quelques m\u00e8tres d\u2019un environnement tr\u00e8s vertical et humide \u00e0 des sous-bois plus chauds. S\u2019ensuit alors une mont\u00e9e assez monotone qui permet de rejoindre les pr\u00e9s de La Vaux.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s avoir travers\u00e9s les pr\u00e9s, nous avons rejoint la route foresti\u00e8re, assez monotone \u00e9galement, qui permet de rejoindre les chalets des Cernets. Malgr\u00e9 la monotonie de ce chemin forestier, son trac\u00e9 est plus agr\u00e9able qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, o\u00f9 on suivait le fond de la combe. On se trouvait alors dans une zone tr\u00e8s boueuse et humide. Apr\u00e8s les Cernets, nous avons suivi le sentier balis\u00e9 passant pr\u00e8s du chalet de la Grandsonne et gagnant le sommet du Chasseron. L\u00e0 encore, nous avions ressenti un fort contraste li\u00e9 au nombre de personnes se trouvant au sommet.<\/p>

Pour descendre vers Ste-Croix, il vaut la peine de suivre la cr\u00eate, n\u00e9cessitant une courte mont\u00e9e, pour passer par les Petites Roches. Ce petit sommet offre une belle vue sur la r\u00e9gion de l\u2019Auberson et de la Cote Aux F\u00e9es. Pour la descente, nous avions opt\u00e9s pour l\u2019itin\u00e9raire num\u00e9rot\u00e9. Celui-ci est un peu plus agr\u00e9able \u00e0 parcourir que la descente directe, car moins raboteuse.<\/p>
