Von der Talsohle aus Richtung Saanen hat man den Eindruck, dass das Tal weiter in Richtung Zweisimmen f\u00fchrt. Dies kann man an der Morphologie des Gel\u00e4ndes erkennen. Allerdings handelt es sich hydrologisch gesehen um ein anderes Tal. Von Saanen fliesst die Saane und durch das Tal, das nach Zweisimmen f\u00fchrt, fliesst die Kleine Simme, also zwei verschiedene Fl\u00fcsse. Die Morphologie des Gel\u00e4ndes macht es angenehm, von Saanen nach Zweisimmen zu wandern, da es nur wenige Gel\u00e4ndestufen gibt. Allerdings ist die Umgebung aufgrund der Strasse und der Bahnlinie relativ laut.<\/p>

Die gesamte Wanderung verl\u00e4uft auf guten Wanderwegen, mit Ausnahme der D\u00f6rfer, wo man die Strasse benutzen muss, und zwischen Saanenm\u00f6ser und Oeschseite, wo man eine kleine asphaltierte Strasse benutzt. Deshalb lohnt es sich, ab Oeschseite dem Wanderweg entlang der Kleinen Simme zu folgen, auch wenn dies einen kleinen Umweg bedeutet. Man folgt dem Tal der Kleinen Simme auf einem guten Wanderweg, wo der Fluss eine angenehme K\u00fchle bringt. Nach dem Schiessstand und dem Schwimmbad erreicht man bald den Bahnhof Zweisimmen, wo die Schienen auf eine andere Spurweite umgestellt werden. Nach unten hin hat man eine Spurweite von 1m435 (Normalspur) und nach oben hin ein Schmalspurnetz mit einer Spurweite von 1m. Vor kurzem wurde eine Einrichtung installiert, mit der die Spurweite der R\u00e4der ge\u00e4ndert werden kann, um die Fahrt des Golden Express fortsetzen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>
