Bellelay est connu pour \u00eatre le berceau du fromage de la T\u00eate de Moine. C\u2019est la raison pour laquelle on trouve dans le village le mus\u00e9e de la T\u00eate de Moine aupr\u00e8s duquel on peut acheter divers produits locaux dont le fameux fromage. Il s\u2019agit \u00e9galement du point de d\u00e9part de la Via Berna, traversant le Jura Bernois pour longer l\u2019Aar et terminer au Susten.<\/p>

Ici, nous avions d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de suivre le Chemin de Bellelay qui repr\u00e9sente une boucle permettant de faire un tour dans le Petit-Val. Il existe cependant un autre tour dans le Petit-Val dont on trouve des balisages au long du Chemin de Bellelay.<\/p>

Le Chemin de Bellelay, bien que se d\u00e9roulant dans des paysages typiques du Jura, est quelque peu d\u00e9cevant car les points de vue sont rares. En effet, ce n\u2019est que dans les environs de Moron, de Sornetan et de Fornet-Dessous que l\u2019on traverse des espaces ouverts. Le cheminement suivant la paroi rocheuse au-dessus de la Gorge du Pichoux offre \u00e9galement quelques beaux points de vue, mais celle-ci est souvent un peu cach\u00e9e par la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation.<\/p>

Au d\u00e9part de Bellelay, on doit suivre la route menant \u00e0 Moron. Bien que celle-ci soit normalement peu fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e, le trafic \u00e9tait important le jour o\u00f9 nous avions entrepris cette randonn\u00e9e, g\u00e2chant un peu l\u2019exp\u00e9rience. Depuis Moron, la suite du tour se d\u00e9roule avant tout en descente jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019on arrive le long de la Sorne. A partir de l\u00e0, il faut monter de mani\u00e8re sensible pour gagner le bord des rochers. L\u00e0, un petit sentier, non indiqu\u00e9 sur la carte permet de descendre dans les Gorges du Pichoux, vers les Blanches Fontaines.<\/p>

Une l\u00e9g\u00e8re descente suivie d\u2019une franche mont\u00e9e permet de rejoindre les maisons de Fornet-Dessous o\u00f9 on retrouve les p\u00e2turages. Il suffit alors de traverser la c\u00f4te pour retourner au point de d\u00e9part \u00e0 Bellelay.<\/p>
