L\u2019\u00e9tape suivante du Trans Swiss Trail pr\u00e9voit de partir depuis Morat afin de gagner Laupen, juste de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la fronti\u00e8re cantonale. Ici, nous avions am\u00e9nag\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9tape un peu diff\u00e9remment. En effet, les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019h\u00e9bergement \u00e0 Morat se trouvent soit au centre-ville, ce qui pourrait pr\u00e9sager d\u2019un environnement assez bruyant, soit au bord du lac de Morat, avec des tarifs plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s. C\u2019est ainsi que nous avions d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de passer la nuit \u00e0 Sugiez. Ce faisant, on \u00e9quilibre aussi un peu plus les deux \u00e9tapes (Portalban-Sugiez et Sugiez-Laupen).<\/p>

Au d\u00e9part de Sugiez, on commence par suivre le canal de la Broye avant de suivre les rives du Lac de Morat. Entre Sugiez et Muntelier, les points de vue sur le lac sont rares, \u00e0 cause des roseli\u00e8res. A partir de cette derni\u00e8re localit\u00e9, on a en revanche de belles vues sur le lac, le Mont Vully et le Chasseral.<\/p>

Arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 Morat, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire pr\u00e9voit de traverser la vieille ville. Ce choix est tout \u00e0 fait judicieux, car la vieille ville de Morat est absolument magnifique. Une fois la ville travers\u00e9e, on gagne la gare et on traverse la route de Berne. J\u2019avais maintes fois suivi cette route avec mes parents il y a fort longtemps (avant la construction des autoroutes), mais je n\u2019ai pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre les lieux. Il est vrai qu\u2019\u00e0 pied, la perception est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente de celle que l\u2019on a depuis une automobile.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s avoir travers\u00e9 la route de Berne, on rejoint un petit ruisseau dont les rives sont parsem\u00e9es de saules, en partie taill\u00e9s en t\u00eatards. Cette mani\u00e8re de faire traditionnelle avait pratiquement disparue dans les ann\u00e9es 70 et 80. Elle redevient \u00e0 la mode, et c\u2019est tant mieux.<\/p>

On traverse alors un bout du Canton de Berne pour rejoindre Craux. L\u00e0, on peut encore profiter d\u2019un dernier point de vue sur Morat et sur le lac. Plus loin, on p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans un environnement plus rural et les points de vue sont surtout en direction des Pr\u00e9alpes Fribourgeoises.<\/p>

A la hauteur de Salvenach, on entre \u00e0 nouveau dans le Canton de Fribourg que l\u2019on ne quittera plus jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la Singine.<\/p>

La suite se d\u00e9roule de mani\u00e8re vari\u00e9e entre for\u00eats, pr\u00e9s et champs jusqu\u2019\u00e0 rejoindre Liebistorf. Apr\u00e8s une derni\u00e8re travers\u00e9e de for\u00eat, on rejoint les derni\u00e8res maisons de Kriechenwil. C\u2019est l\u00e0 que l\u2019on entame la descente vers la Sarine que l\u2019on traverse sur une petite passerelle pi\u00e9tonne. A partir de l\u00e0 l\u2019itin\u00e9raire officiel suit la Sarine. Nous avions toutefois d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de passer la nuit \u00e0 B\u00f6singen, \u00e0 peu de distance de Laupen.<\/p>
