<\/p>

Pour cette destination dans les montagnes du Pays d\u2019en Haut, il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9vu avec le groupe de partir de G\u00e9rignoz pour monter en raquettes \u00e0 la Cabane de la Sarouche. C\u2019\u00e9tait sans compter l\u2019hiver tr\u00e8s bizarre que nous avons v\u00e9cu. Normalement, \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode, la neige devrait \u00eatre pr\u00e9sente en suffisance, de sorte \u00e0 pouvoir effectuer la sortie en portant un minimum les raquettes (voir de pouvoir les chausser depuis le bas). Cette fois, il n\u2019en \u00e9tait rien.<\/p>

Toute la haute cuvette de la Braye, au-dessus de Ch\u00e2teau d\u2019Oex, \u00e9tait jusqu\u2019il y a peu, utilis\u00e9e pour les pistes de ski. Les remont\u00e9es m\u00e9caniques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 brutalement arr\u00eat\u00e9es durant la saison d\u2019hiver 2017 et le secteur est devenu le paradis du ski de randonn\u00e9e et de la raquette (pour autant qu\u2019il y ait de la neige). Les installations sont \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat, mais la Cabane de la Sarouche est rest\u00e9e ouverte, \u00e0 l\u2019instar de la Cabane des Monts Chevreuils voisins. Tout le secteur est id\u00e9al pour la randonn\u00e9e hivernale, car il n\u2019y a que tr\u00e8s peu de pentes \u00e0 plus de 30\u00b0.<\/p>

Certes, le b\u00e9tail n\u2019\u00e9tant pas encore dans les enclos, il \u00e9tait tentant de couper \u00e0 travers pr\u00e9. Toutefois, ce faisant, on se crottait bien les chaussures. C\u2019est pourquoi nous avions opt\u00e9s finalement pour la route goudronn\u00e9e. C\u2019est moins amusant, mais c\u2019est aussi moins boueux. En suivant la route, on passe devant deux entr\u00e9es camoufl\u00e9es. Il s\u2019agit du fort d\u2019artillerie de la Braye dont le but \u00e9tait d\u2019emp\u00eacher le passage depuis le Plateau Suisse pour entrer dans la vall\u00e9e de la Sarine. Le fort, achev\u00e9 en 1945, comportait deux batteries de 4 canons chacun. La particularit\u00e9 \u00e9tait qu\u2019une des batteries \u00e9tait compos\u00e9e de canons sur aff\u00fbts de campagne.<\/p>

Arriv\u00e9 sur la cr\u00eate sur laquelle se trouve la cabane, on b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une belle vue sur les Diablerets, la Para et le Pic Chaussy. Par l\u2019ouverture du Col des Mosses, on a une vue sur les Dents du Midi et le Mont Blanc.<\/p>
