Engelberg ist sicherlich nicht ein Einzelfall da ich aber oft als Junger in Engelberg war kann ich nur feststellen, wie sehr urspr\u00fcngliche Wege verschwunden sind. Diese Tatsache kann man auf der digitale Topografische Karte nachschlagen, wenn man die ehemaligen Karten mit der heutigen vergleicht. Der Grund des Verschwindens der Fusswege ist auf dem Bau von Alp- oder Forststrassen zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren. Zu bedauern ist nicht der Bau dieser Strassen: schliesslich d\u00fcrfen die Bergbauen es leichter haben, da ihre Arbeit schwer genug ist. Dass man aber die Fusswege nicht mehr gepflegt hat ist schade. Dieser Mangel an Pflege hat dazu gef\u00fchrt, dass Wege des Anfangs der 80er Jahre noch viel begangen wurden, gegenw\u00e4rtig kaum mehr zu finden sind.<\/p>

Dieser Eintrag beschreibt eine Tour die zwei Abschnitte solcher verschwundenen Wege folgt. Der erste verl\u00e4sst der Wanderweg zur Fl\u00fchmatt um das Haus H\u00fcsli zu erreichen. Der zweite entspricht dem ehemaligen Wanderweg, der vom Hinter Sack in die Schwand hinabf\u00fchrte.<\/p>

Von Engelberg aus, folgt man zuerst der Wanderweg in Richtung Fl\u00fchmatt (eigentlich Untere Fl\u00fchmatt). Der Weg quert durch die Ochsenmatt und steigt nach links in den Wald. Man quert durch eine erste Rinne und steigt weiter durch den Hang. Vor einer zweiten Runse, knapp nach der Ecke, sieht man eine Weg Spur die den Hang schl\u00e4ngelnd hinaufgeht. Nach einem kurzen Aufstieg erreicht man eine Weide die als Heu Weide dient: weiter oben befindet sich einen Heuspeicher der fr\u00fcher gebraucht wurde. Heute wird das Heu \u00fcber ein Kabel hinaufgezogen. Weiter oben, nach einem kurzen Abschnitt im Wald, erreicht man das Haus H\u00fcsli und der Wanderweg, der vom Bord zur Fl\u00fchmatt f\u00fchrt. Wenn man zum Ristis hinaufsteigen will, ist es von Vorteil, statt dem markierten Weg zu folgen, der breite Weg zu folgen, der hinter dem Gaden anf\u00e4ngt. Dieser Weg entspricht dem ehemaligen Wanderweg vom Bord zur Fl\u00fchmatt.<\/p>

Auf der Kante gelangt man zum markierten Weg, der zum Ristis hinauff\u00fchrt.<\/p>

Vom Ristis folgte ich die Strasse, die zur Schwand f\u00fchrt, bis zum Hinter Sack. Da wo der Wanderweg vom Stoffelberg hinabkommt, ging es fr\u00fcher durch die Weiden, an zwei Gaden vorbei bis Spisboden. Weiter ging es, mehr oder weniger direkt zur Schwand hinab.<\/p>

Von der Schwand ist es von Vorteil, um die Strasse zu meide, zur B\u00e4ch abzugehen, um dieselbe Strasse knapp vor dem Gschneit wieder zu erreichen. Es sind zwar einige Meter an H\u00f6henunterschied mehr, aber es ist viel ruhiger.<\/p>
