<\/p>

Here is a short hike that I have done many times, especially in the winter. This takes place in a part of the Jura Vaudois that is not too busy, except around Mont Roux, because a winter route passes nearby.<\/p>

Also, since the quarter under the chalet du Pr\u00e9 was recently built, it is no longer so easy to cross the pastures to go in the direction of the Argozats. This is why I had more and more opted to go through Les Mouilles. This last chalet is private, but I have always been able to walk past it without a hitch.<\/p>

After Les Mouilles, one crosses a small spruce wood that was densely planted. This produced the atmosphere of these forests, with a lot of shade and no vegetation on the ground. It does not take long to access the pastures of the Argozats which can be crossed without difficulty in winter. In summer, one is sometimes obliged to cross the fences and the passages are not available everywhere.<\/p>

After the chalet, one can also cut through the meadow to reach the Pr\u00e9 Nouveau. This requires crossing a small stream where water flows, even in winter. Crossing it is not always easy. After the stream, one climbs the meadows before crossing a fence to reach the Pr\u00e9 Nouveau. From this chalet, there are several possibilities. In winter, however, it is advantageous to follow the forest path starting above the Pr\u00e9 Chaum\u00e9 to reach Mont Roux directly.<\/p>

The descent from Mont Roux is then made along the marked trail.<\/p>
