En consultant la carte de Suisse Mobile, j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert qu\u2019il existait un itin\u00e9raire de grande randonn\u00e9e traversant la Suisse entre Bellelay et le Col du Susten. C\u2019est \u00e0 la suite de cela que j\u2019avais d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de suivre un bout de cet itin\u00e9raire de grande randonn\u00e9e. Donc, destination Bellelay. Cet endroit est connu surtout parce qu\u2019il est le berceau du fameux fromage de la T\u00eate de Moine. Ce fromage a \u00e9t\u00e9 produit depuis le 12\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cle par les moines de l\u2019abbaye de Bellelay. Pour ceux qui ne le conna\u00eetraient pas, ce fromage ne se d\u00e9guste pas comme un fromage traditionnel. Il faut r\u00e2cler la surface avec la lame d\u2019un couteau afin de produire des copeaux. C\u2019est comme cela qu\u2019il est le plus onctueux. Le mieux est toutefois de disposer d\u2019une \u00ab\u00a0Girolle\u00a0\u00bb qui permet de produire sans effort les copeaux.<\/p>

Le d\u00e9part de la Via Berna se trouve effectivement devant le Domaine, corps de b\u00e2timent restant de l\u2019ancienne abbaye et qui abrite maintenant le mus\u00e9e de la T\u00eate de Moine.<\/p>

Le premier bout de cette \u00e9tape serait int\u00e9ressant, si on ne devait pas plus ou moins longer la route portant de Tavannes aux Gorges du Pichoux. Heureusement, on traverse une tourbi\u00e8re dont on a fait une r\u00e9serve naturelle. Le sentier, \u00e0 cet endroit, \u00e9volue sur des ponts en bois. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 la Croix Boillat que l\u2019on quitte la route pour p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans un environnement beaucoup plus calme. On emprunte alors un chemin forestier qui grimpe, de mani\u00e8re assez raide par endroits, en direction de Montbautier. Vers la fin, le sentier longe la raide c\u00f4te dominant le vallon de la Trame.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s un angle, dans lequel se trouve une place pour le pique-nique, on traverse les p\u00e2turages \u00e0 flanc de coteau pour atteindre une route. Un tout petit plus haut, on remarque un petit b\u00e2timent devant lequel se trouve quelques dispositifs pour la gymnastique, en particulier, des perches \u00e0 grimper. La pr\u00e9sence de ceux-ci peut surprendre lorsque l\u2019on est hors contexte. Mais une consultation sur les cartes historiques confirme qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019une ancienne \u00e9cole. Celle-ci devait accueillir les enfants de Montbautier, Ri\u00e8re Jorat, voir du Chalet (Haut de B\u00e9mont).<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s avoir travers\u00e9 une petite for\u00eat, on arrive sur la cr\u00eate depuis laquelle la vue devient de plus en plus d\u00e9gag\u00e9e. On doit suivre alors la route qui m\u00e8ne au Haut de B\u00e9mont. M\u00eame si elle n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e, ce n\u2019est jamais tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able de devoir marcher sur l\u2019asphalte. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019au Haut de B\u00e9mont que l\u2019on quitte la route pour suivre la cr\u00eate qui part en direction du P\u00e2turage du Droit. On arrive alors \u00e0 un curieux petit col qui, selon les cartes historiques, a d\u00fb \u00eatre retrac\u00e9 dans les ann\u00e9es 60. En effet, en continuant en direction de Tramelan, on suit un chemin carrossable qui d\u00e9double la route actuelle.<\/p>

Un peu plus loin on entame la descente en direction de Tramelan. L\u00e0, il ne s\u2019agit de ne pas se tromper en suivant les balisages, car on peut facilement se retrouver \u00e0 l\u2019autre bout de la ville.<\/p>
