<\/p>

Voici une destination que j\u2019aime bien refaire, car les points de vue sur la vall\u00e9e du Rh\u00f4ne et des montagnes de la r\u00e9gion de Visp sont magnifiques. De plus, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire n\u2019est pas monotone, car il faut souvent de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer un bout dans les vallons lat\u00e9raux pour en ressortir plus loin.<\/p>

Ici, j\u2019avait toutefois suivi le sentier de la rampe sud et non l\u2019itin\u00e9raire du Chemin du Soleil. Ce dernier part du village de Hohtenn alors que pour le premier, on suit plus ou moins fid\u00e8lement les voies du chemin de fer. J\u2019avais \u00e9galement renonc\u00e9 \u00e0 descendre sur le Bisse de St\u00e4geru en passant par Lidu. La raison \u00e9tant que j\u2019avais envie de voir le fond du vallon du Jolibach, puisque la premi\u00e8re fois que j\u2019\u00e9tais pass\u00e9 par l\u00e0, de gros travaux de construction de protection contre les inondations \u00e9taient en cours et g\u00e2chaient le plaisir.<\/p>

\u00c9galement, j\u2019avais eu envie, au lieu de franchir le pont du Bietschtal, de monter un peu afin de traverser le pont naturel.<\/p>

Pour la descente sur Baltschieder, j\u2019avais voulu suivre le sentier officiellement indiqu\u00e9 sur les cartes. Toutefois, je me suis tromp\u00e9 en suivant un sentier qui \u00e9tait plus d\u00e9gag\u00e9, mais qui menait \u00e0 la route d\u2019Ausserberg. Lorsque je me suis rendu compte de mon erreur, j\u2019avais d\u00e9j\u00e0 atteint la route, et je ne voulais pas remonter pour reprendre le sentier officiel. Il faut dire aussi que les hautes herbes des bords de sentier n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 coup\u00e9es, ce qui rendait les sentiers peu attrayants.<\/p>

A l\u2019origine, j\u2019avais pr\u00e9vu de rallier Visp \u00e0 pied. Mais la chaleur n\u2019aidant pas, et l\u2019horaire du car postal m\u2019\u00e9tant favorable, j\u2019ai pris ce dernier \u00e0 Baltschieder.<\/p>
