Ein grosser Brocken ist diese (vierte) Etappe der Via Jura. Die Via Jura ist die Route, die einen Teil des Jura zwischen Basel und Biel durchquert. Diese ist die l\u00e4ngste Etappe der gesamten Route, auch wenn sie nicht auf “alpinen” H\u00f6henlagen gipfelt, da der h\u00f6chste Punkt auf 1302 m bei Raimeux liegt. Die grosse Distanz erkl\u00e4rt sich aus der Tatsache, dass man, um den Gipfel des Raimeux zu besteigen und dabei die zu verst\u00e4dterten Orte des Birs-Tals zu meiden, vom direktesten Weg abweicht, indem man zun\u00e4chst La Scheulte folgt. Man \u00fcberquert diese in Vicques, kurz vor dem Aufstieg nach Rebeuvelier.<\/p>

Vom Bahnhof Del\u00e9mont aus folgten wir dem markierten Weg, der bald an der Sorne entlangf\u00fchrt. In der N\u00e4he dieses Bachs befand sich einst das S\u00e4gewerk von Del\u00e9mont, das von einem Brand heimgesucht wurde. Man wollte jedoch ein Zeugnis dieses S\u00e4gewerks bewahren, indem man die R\u00e4der, mit denen die Maschinen angetrieben wurden, erhalten hat. Weiter, am Eingang der Schlucht, haben wir die Pont de la Birse \u00fcberquert, von wo aus man die M\u00fcndung der Sorne in der Birs sehen kann.<\/p>

Zwischen Del\u00e9mont und Vicques durchquert man eine l\u00e4ndliche, nicht sehr gebirgige Gegend. Man wechselt von befahrbaren Strassen zu Forstwegen und steigt an, bevor man nach Vicques hinuntergeht. In diesem Dorf \u00fcberquert man La Scheulte und steigt gegen\u00fcber hinauf. Es dauert nicht lange, bis man in ein kleines Tal eindringt, das es erm\u00f6glicht, das Dorf Rebeuvelier zu erreichen.<\/p>

Wenn man der Route folgt, die die Bergh\u00e4nge oberhalb des Dorfes durchquert, erreicht man einen kleinen Ruz, den man hinaufsteigt. An dieser Stelle ist der Hang zeitweise recht steil, aber schon bald erreicht man die Weiden unterhalb des Mont Raimeux. Nach einer kleinen Anstrengung erreicht man den Gipfel mit einem merkw\u00fcrdigen Betonturm.<\/p>

Nachdem wir am Raimeux de Grandval vorbeigegangen sind (hier befindet sich einen Ausschank), begannen wir den langen Abstieg in Richtung Grandval. Am Anfang, entlang des felsigen Grats, kann man ein St\u00fcck des Weges sehen. Dieser Weg wurde wegen der Rinnen als r\u00f6mischer Weg betrachtet, denn was Rinnen hatte, musste r\u00f6mischer sein (und das bis in die 80er Jahre). Das war, bevor nachgewiesen wurde, dass Spurrinnen nat\u00fcrlich entstehen, wenn man beladene Karren mit gehemmten R\u00e4dern \u00fcber einen kurzen Zeitraum (einige Jahrzehnte) darauf hinunterf\u00e4hrt. Das St\u00fcck des Weges ist also nicht r\u00f6misch, sondern stammt wahrscheinlich aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Ausserdem h\u00e4tten die Breite und die Neigung des Weges die Durchfahrt von grossen Karren nicht erm\u00f6glicht. Es handelt sich also wahrscheinlich um einen Weg, der f\u00fcr die Landwirtschaft genutzt wurde.<\/p>

Weiter m\u00fcndet der Weg in eine breite befahrbare Strasse, die an der Combe des Geais vorbeif\u00fchrt, in der sich ein Schutzhaus mit einer Feuerstelle befindet. Nach einer Durchquerung unterquert man die Combe de la Hue, bevor man zur\u00fcckkehrt und hinunter zum Dorf Grandval absteigt.<\/p>

An dieser Stelle sollte man nicht glauben, dass man den Aufstieg beendet hat, um nach Moutier zu gelangen. Man muss n\u00e4mlich noch ein wenig hinaufsteigen, um das Dorf Belprahon zu erreichen. Nach dem Dorf geht es noch ein wenig hinauf, um unter dem Berg zu durchqueren, die Transjurane zu \u00fcberqueren und um nach Moutier zu gelangen.<\/p>
