La Bunderchrinde, malgr\u00e9 le fait que le nom ne soit pas tr\u00e8s parlant, est un col reliant Adelboden et Kandersteg. Il se trouve sur l\u2019itin\u00e9raire 1 de la Via Alpina. Cet itin\u00e9raire traverse les Alpes d\u2019est en ouest, ce qui est, \u00e0 mon avis un mauvais choix, m\u00eame s\u2019il ce sens est logique par rapport aux mouvements migratoires de l\u2019histoire. En effet, en parcourant les cols de la Via Alpina d\u2019est en ouest, on est amen\u00e9 syst\u00e9matiquement \u00e0 grimper aux cols tout en ayant le soleil dans le dos d\u00e8s le matin. Il vaut certainement mieux de traverser ces cols dans le sens inverse. On a alors l\u2019avantage de pouvoir monter aux cols dans une atmosph\u00e8re de fra\u00eecheur. La Bunderchrinde n\u2019\u00e9chappe pas \u00e0 ce fait.<\/p>

La derni\u00e8re, et la seule fois que j\u2019avais travers\u00e9 ce col remonte \u00e0, je n\u2019ose presque pas le dire, 1979. Le fait de parcourir \u00e0 nouveau cet itin\u00e9raire, ne m\u2019a non seulement permis de retrouver ces lieux, mais \u00e9galement de me rappeler de ce que j\u2019\u00e9tais alors\u00a0: un sentiment m\u00e9langeant nostalgie et fiert\u00e9. Cela faisait longtemps que je caressais le projet de parcourir \u00e0 nouveau ce chemin, mais en habitant Gen\u00e8ve, il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 difficile de pouvoir l\u2019accomplir dans la journ\u00e9e. Maintenant que j\u2019ai chang\u00e9 de lieu de domicile, c\u2019est devenu un peu plus facile.<\/p>

Ainsi, nous avons pris le bus depuis Frutigen pour Adelboden et descendre \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat de Oey. A partir de l\u00e0, peu apr\u00e8s avoir travers\u00e9 l\u2019Allenbach et l\u2019Entschlige, les choses s\u00e9rieuses ont commenc\u00e9. Il a fallu suivre la route goudronn\u00e9e assez raide menant \u00e0 Bonderle. Bizarrement, je ne me souviens pas de cette route. Cependant, apr\u00e8s \u00eatre descendus en suivant une autre route qui traverse le Bunderleb\u00e4chli, le souvenir de ce vallon dans lequel on trouve passablement de foug\u00e8res et de feuilles de p\u00e9tasite dansant dans l\u2019air du matin, s\u2019est raviv\u00e9.<\/p>

En continuant l\u2019itin\u00e9raire balis\u00e9, nous avons travers\u00e9 une succession de p\u00e2turages et de for\u00eats, et ce n\u2019est que \u00ab\u00a0I de Louwene\u00a0\u00bb (vers les avalanches), que nous avons d\u00e9pass\u00e9 la limite des derniers arbres. A partir de cet endroit, on \u00e9volue dans les p\u00e2turages de l\u2019\u00e9tage subalpin et \u00e0 mesure que l\u2019on monte, le paysage devient de plus en plus min\u00e9ral. Arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019alpage de \u00ab\u00a0I de Schrickmatte\u00a0\u00bb, on voit deux itin\u00e9raires alpins (donc balis\u00e9s blanc-bleu-blanc) qui permettent de monter \u00e0 la Cabane Lohner. Quand on suit du regard celui du haut, on a de la peine \u00e0 croire qu\u2019il franchit la paroi rocheuse. Mais c\u2019est pourtant le cas.<\/p>

Au-del\u00e0, il s\u2019est agit pour nous de grimper la raide c\u00f4te permettant d\u2019atteindre la cuvette de Bunderchummi. C\u2019est raide, mais c\u2019est d\u00fb au fait qu\u2019il doit s\u2019agir d\u2019une ancienne moraine frontale, m\u00eame si quelques vallums se trouvent dans le sens de la pente. Dans cette cuvette, on a un petit r\u00e9pit avant d\u2019entamer la travers\u00e9e et les derniers raides 150m de d\u00e9nivellation permettant d\u2019atteindre le col. Au col, les ar\u00eates partant des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s pr\u00e9sentent un curieux empilement de couches. On se trouve l\u00e0 en pr\u00e9sence de roches datant du cr\u00e9tac\u00e9 inf\u00e9rieur.<\/p>

Sur l\u2019autre versant, le terrain se pr\u00e9sente comme sur le versant d\u2019Adelboden\u00a0: c\u2019est raide et caillouteux. En revanche, une fois qu\u2019on a travers\u00e9 le pierrier et qu\u2019on a rejoint les p\u00e2turages, les choses se calment un tout petit peu pour atteindre l\u2019alpage d\u2019Alpschele. Depuis cet endroit, le sentier traverse presque \u00e0 l\u2019horizontale les pentes au-dessus d\u2019une barre de rocher jusqu\u2019\u00e0 une zone de faiblesse de celle-ci, qui est le seul endroit o\u00f9 elle peut \u00eatre franchie.<\/p>

La descente en courts lacets sur Ussere Ueschene est raide. Par moment, on a vraiment l\u2019impression de se trouver \u00e0 la verticale des premiers virages du bas. Par chance, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la pente, on perd tr\u00e8s vite en altitude et on ne tarde pas \u00e0 rejoindre les chalets. En-dessous des chalet d\u2019Ussere Ueschene, la carte des sentiers balis\u00e9s indique qu\u2019il faut suivre la route d\u2019alpage. Il est cependant plus avantageux de couper cette route en empruntant une vague trace descendant tout droit.<\/p>

Un fois arriv\u00e9 sur la route d\u2019Ueschene, il vaut la peine de suivre l\u2019itin\u00e9raire balis\u00e9, car celui-ci \u00e9vite de devoir marcher le long de celle-ci (\u00e0 moins que l\u2019on veuille s\u2019arr\u00eater \u00e0 l\u2019auberge Lohner). Ce faisant, en suivant le balisage, on marche sur un sentier longeant l\u2019Alpbach et qui rejoint la route \u00e0 deux reprises. A la deuxi\u00e8me il est avantageux, si l\u2019on veut se rendre \u00e0 la gare de Kandersteg, de suivre la route sur quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres pour emprunter le sentier balis\u00e9. Ainsi, on \u00e9vite de devoir suivre la route qui, depuis Eggeschwand, m\u00e8ne \u00e0 Kandersteg.<\/p>

Plus loin, on arrive au bord de la Kander dont on suit la rive jusqu\u2019\u00e0 B\u00fctschels, o\u00f9 il faut passer sous les voies pour atteindre la gare. Avant B\u00fctschels, on ne manquera pas d\u2019observer les raides talus se trouvant le long de la Kander. Ceux-ci sont le r\u00e9sultat du d\u00e9chargement des d\u00e9blais du percement du premier tunnel du L\u00f6tschberg.<\/p>
