<\/p>

Le Gantrisch est \u00e0 la fois une r\u00e9gion, ainsi qu\u2019un sommet. Le fait int\u00e9ressant est que l\u2019on s\u2019attendrait que le sommet du Gantrisch soit le point culminant de la petite cha\u00eene de montagnes dans laquelle il se trouve. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, le point culminant de cette cha\u00eene se trouve au Ochse (le B\u0153uf) qui a une altitude d\u2019une dizaine de m\u00e8tres plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que celle du Gantrisch.<\/p>

A l\u2019instar du Gantrisch, le Ochse peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre gravi en travers\u00e9e en partant de la r\u00e9gion du Gantrisch et en descendant dans le Simmental. On a alors l\u2019avantage de pouvoir profiter de points de vue tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9s sur les Alpes et Pr\u00e9alpes Bernoises.<\/p>

Le point de d\u00e9part id\u00e9al se situe \u00e0 Schwefelberg Bad. Comme son nom le laisse supposer, il s\u2019agit de bains, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, et jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nouvel avis, d\u2019anciens bains. En effet, l\u2019h\u00f4tel ainsi que les remont\u00e9es m\u00e9caniques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9s par un priv\u00e9 et ce, en 2012. Des travaux de r\u00e9novation avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9vus et commenc\u00e9s. Malheureusement, aucun permis de construire n\u2019avait \u00e9t\u00e9 demand\u00e9, avec pour cons\u00e9quence que les travaux avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re brutale. Depuis, rien ne semble avoir boug\u00e9. De passer devant l\u2019ancien h\u00f4tel laisse une impression bizarre, car le site ressemble \u00e0 un b\u00e2timent fant\u00f4me.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s avoir pass\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de l\u2019h\u00f4tel, on commence \u00e0 grimper la pente en direction du Louigrat. A un certain moment, on traverse une zone assez humide o\u00f9 l\u2019odeur de l\u2019\u0153uf pourri est tr\u00e8s prononc\u00e9e. C\u2019est probablement \u00e0 cet endroit que l\u2019eau des bains est capt\u00e9e. En effet, plus de la moiti\u00e9 des min\u00e9raux pr\u00e9sent dans cette eau sont sous la forme de sulfates, avec l\u2019odeur en cons\u00e9quence. Un peu plus haut, on suit la cr\u00eate pour atteindre le Louigrat. L\u00e0, le sentier ne suit pas de beaux lacets, mais monte tout droit \u00e0 travers la pente. C\u2019est bien raide et ardu jusqu\u2019\u00e0 avoir atteint le sommet du t\u00e9l\u00e9ski. Au-del\u00e0, on continue \u00e0 monter le long de l\u2019ar\u00eate jusqu\u2019au H\u00fcrlisbode. \u00c0 cet endroit, on change de c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019ar\u00eate et on traverse \u00e0 flanc de coteau pour rejoindre l\u2019Alpiglegalm. Une petite sente permettrait de continuer le long de l\u2019ar\u00eate depuis le H\u00fcrlisbode, mais la pente reste soutenue et la trace pas tr\u00e8s nette.<\/p>

Depuis le col d\u2019Alpiglegalm, on monte en direction du Ochse le long d\u2019un bon sentier qui, sous les parois, effectue quelques \u00e9pingles \u00e0 cheveux. C\u2019est arriv\u00e9 au pied des rochers que les choses se corsent. Il s\u2019agit en effet de grimper \u00e0 travers les rochers pour atteindre l\u2019ar\u00eate sud-ouest du Ochse que l\u2019on suit jusqu\u2019au sommet. M\u00eame si le sentier n\u2019est pas difficile, il s\u2019agit ici de faire attention, car les pentes sont raides et une glissade pourrait entra\u00eener des cons\u00e9quences f\u00e2cheuses.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s \u00eatre descendu du sommet et avoir rejoint le petit col, j\u2019avais d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de descendre en direction de Ripr\u00e4chtebochte. M\u00eame si le terrain est raide, de bonnes traces indiquent la voie \u00e0 suivre. Il est parfois difficile de discerner la trace de ravines d\u2019\u00e9coulement, mais on se rend vite compte si l\u2019on n\u2019est pas sur l\u2019itin\u00e9raire si on suit ces derni\u00e8res. Arriv\u00e9 au-dessus de la cuvette, on peut alors traverser de flanc pour passer au mieux les pentes permettant de rejoindre un sentier indiqu\u00e9 sur la carte, et que l\u2019on rep\u00e8re bien au sol. En suivant ce dernier, on ne tarde pas \u00e0 rejoindre le petit lac de Schattigseeli.<\/p>

Quelques m\u00e8tres au-dessus de ce lac, on retrouve le sentier permettant soit de monter au Grenchegalm, soit de traverser sur le Lochegg. C\u2019est cette derni\u00e8re alternative que j\u2019avais choisie.<\/p>

Une fois le Lochegg atteint, on peut emprunter le sentier balis\u00e9 atteignant Oberwil im Simmental. Toutefois, il faut se rappeler que la descente est longue (plus de 1000m de d\u00e9nivellation n\u00e9gative) et que les sentiers sont parcourus par des V\u00e9t\u00e9tistes qui ont la f\u00e2cheuse tendance \u00e0 d\u00e9truire les sentiers de montagne.<\/p>
