<\/p>

Der Gantrisch ist sowohl eine Region als auch ein Gipfel. Interessanterweise w\u00fcrde man erwarten, dass der Gipfel des Gantrisch der h\u00f6chste Punkt der kleinen Bergkette ist, in der er sich befindet. Der h\u00f6chste Punkt dieser Kette ist jedoch der Ochse, der etwa zehn Meter h\u00f6her liegt als der Gantrisch.<\/p>

Wie der Gantrisch kann auch der Ochse von der Region Gantrisch bis hinab ins Simmental \u00fcberquert werden. Dabei hat man den Vorteil, dass man vielf\u00e4ltige Blickwinkel auf die Berner Alpen und Voralpen geniessen kann.<\/p>

Der ideale Ausgangspunkt ist Schwefelberg Bad. Wie der Name schon vermuten l\u00e4sst, handelt es sich um B\u00e4der, genauer gesagt bis auf weiteres um fr\u00fchere B\u00e4der. Denn das Hotel und die Skilifte wurden 2012 von einer Privatperson erworben. Renovierungsarbeiten waren geplant und begonnen worden. Leider war keine Baugenehmigung beantragt worden, so dass die Arbeiten abrupt gestoppt wurden. Seitdem scheint sich nichts bewegt zu haben. An dem alten Hotel vorbeizukommen, hinterl\u00e4sst einen bizarren Eindruck, denn das Gel\u00e4nde gleicht einem Geistergeb\u00e4ude.<\/p>

Nachdem wir am Hotel vorbeigegangen sind, beginnen wir den Hang in Richtung Louigrat hinaufzusteigen. Irgendwann durchqueren wir ein feuchtes Gebiet, in dem der Geruch nach faulen Eiern stark ausgepr\u00e4gt ist. Das ist wahrscheinlich der Ort, an dem das Badewasser gefasst wird. Mehr als die H\u00e4lfte der Mineralien in diesem Wasser sind Sulfate, mit dem entsprechenden Geruch. Etwas h\u00f6her folgt man dem Grat zum Louigrat. Dort folgt der Weg nicht sch\u00f6ne Serpentinen, sondern geht geradeaus bergauf. Es ist steil und beschwerlich, bis man den Gipfel des Skilifts erreicht. Danach geht es weiter den Grat entlang bis zur H\u00fcrlisbode. Hier wechselt man die Seite des Grats und quert eine Hangflanke zur Alpiglegalm. Von der H\u00fcrlisbode aus k\u00f6nnte man den Grat entlang einem kleinen Pfad folgen, aber der Hang bleibt steil und ist der Weg nicht eindeutig.<\/p>

Vom der Alpiglegalm geht es auf einem guten Weg zum Ochsen hinauf, der unter den W\u00e4nden ein paar Haarnadelkurven aufweist. Am Fusse der Felsen wird es ernst. Es geht n\u00e4mlich durch die Felsen hinauf, um den S\u00fcdwestkamm des Ochsen zu erreichen, dem man bis zum Gipfel folgt. Auch wenn der Weg nicht schwierig ist, ist hier Vorsicht geboten, da die H\u00e4nge steil sind und ein Abrutschen tragische Folgen haben k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>

Nachdem ich vom Gipfel abgestiegen war und den kleinen Pass erreicht hatte, hatte ich beschlossen, in Richtung Ripr\u00e4chtebochte abzusteigen. Obwohl das Gel\u00e4nde steil ist, gibt es gute Spuren, die den Weg weisen. Es ist manchmal schwierig, die Spuren von Runsen zu unterscheiden, aber wenn man den Runsen folgt, merkt man schnell, dass man nicht auf dem Weg ist. Oberhalb der Mulde angekommen, kann man den Hang queren, um ein Weg erreichen, die auf der Karte eingezeichnet ist und am Boden gut zu erkennen ist. Wenn man dem Weg folgt, erreicht man bald den kleinen Schattigseeli-See.<\/p>

Ein paar Meter oberhalb des Sees findet man wieder den Weg, der entweder zur Grenchegalm hinauff\u00fchrt oder zur Lochegg \u00fcberquert. Letztere Variante hatte ich gew\u00e4hlt.<\/p>

Nachdem man die Lochegg erreicht hat, kann man den markierten Weg nach Oberwil im Simmental folgen. Es ist jedoch zu bedenken, dass der Abstieg lang ist (\u00fcber 1000m Abstieg) und dass die Wege von Mountainbikern befahren werden, die leider dazu neigen, die Bergwege zu zerst\u00f6ren.<\/p>
