La premi\u00e8re fois que j\u2019avais entendu parler de la Combe de Biaufond, c\u2019\u00e9tait il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, car nous avions eu le projet de la remonter. Toutefois, \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque, par suite d\u2019\u00e9boulements, le parcours de cette combe \u00e9tait fortement d\u00e9conseill\u00e9, le sentier \u00e9tant officiellement ferm\u00e9. Depuis, je l\u2019ai parcourue quelques fois.<\/p>

Ici, j\u2019avais l\u2019intention de tester le mat\u00e9riel de montagne car j\u2019allais, quelques jours plus tard, me rendre au Chili et en Bolivie. Il fallait absolument m\u2019assurer que le mat\u00e9riel tiendrait la route. En m\u00eame temps, je n\u2019avais pas suffisamment de temps disponible pour effectuer une grande randonn\u00e9e. C\u2019est ainsi que j\u2019ai opt\u00e9 pour la Combe de Biaufond.<\/p>

Ici, j\u2019avais encore pouss\u00e9 un tout petit bout pour aller au Cul des Pr\u00e9s, petit \u00e9tang assez surprenant, puisque situ\u00e9 le long de la Ronde, dont le d\u00e9bit est tr\u00e8s variable. Une autre curiosit\u00e9 est le fait que la Combe de Biaufond se trouve exclusivement sur le territoire du Canton de Berne. En effet, ce Canton forme une sorte de pointe allant pratiquement jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Biaufond. C\u2019est la raison pour laquelle, la fronti\u00e8re commune entre les Cantons de Neuch\u00e2tel et du Jura mesure 250m, dont une partie dans le Lac de Biaufond.<\/p>

Au d\u00e9part de Biaufond, lorsque l\u2019on remonte la combe, on \u00e9volue dans un environnement qui se resserre de plus en plus jusqu\u2019\u00e0 passer une premi\u00e8re \u00e9troiture. A cet endroit, la Combe de Biaufond change de direction et monte en direction d\u2019un second resserrement. L\u00e0 encore, elle change encore une fois de direction avant que le sentier ne doive surmonter une pente raide \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019escaliers. A la hauteur de ce dernier resserrement, on trouve beaucoup de d\u00e9tritus au sol. J\u2019imagine qu\u2019ils ont d\u00fb \u00eatre charri\u00e9s lors de crues de la Ronde. Mais ce n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s rago\u00fbtant.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s \u00eatre mont\u00e9 les escaliers, il vaut la peine de parcourir les 200m qui nous s\u00e9parent de l\u2019\u00e9tang du Cul des Pr\u00e9s. L\u2019endroit est tr\u00e8s beau, raison pour laquelle un emplacement \u00e0 grillades s\u2019y trouve. A la belle saison, j\u2019imagine qu\u2019il faut s\u2019y rendre t\u00f4t afin de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de la place.<\/p>

Pour le retour, j\u2019\u00e9tais mont\u00e9 au Bas de Brandt. Le sentier traversant au-dessus de la Combe de Biaufond est tr\u00e8s bon. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019arriv\u00e9 dans les pr\u00e9s du Bas de Brandt que l\u2019on trouve un sentier souvent boueux. Heureusement, \u00e0 cette saison, il m\u2019\u00e9tait facilement possible d\u2019\u00e9viter la boue.<\/p>

La descente vers Biaufond ne pose pas de probl\u00e8mes car on suit un bon bout de chemin forestier. Juste au-dessus de la douane de Biaufond, on peut suivre un petit sentier avec des escaliers permettant d\u2019\u00e9viter de faire le d\u00e9tour passant devant le pont sur la fronti\u00e8re.<\/p>
