<\/p>

Les trains ne circulant plus entre la Reuchenette et Bienne \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode-l\u00e0, nous nous \u00e9tions dit que peut-\u00eatre il serait avantageux de longer la Suze et de traverser les Gorges du Taubenloch. En effet, cette partie de la vall\u00e9e est spectaculaire. La seule ombre au tableau est l\u2019\u00e9norme cimenterie se trouvant pr\u00e8s de la Reuchenette. N\u00e9anmoins, le parcours pour les pi\u00e9tons est am\u00e9nag\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 ne pas \u00eatre trop d\u00e9rang\u00e9 par l\u2019environnement.<\/p>

Pr\u00e8s de Rondch\u00e2tel, on passe devant un entrep\u00f4t devant lequel nous avions vu des f\u00fbts remplis de curieuses boules de la taille de boules de p\u00e9tanque. Il s\u2019agit de boules d\u2019aciers utilis\u00e9es dans les broyeurs \u00e0 ciment.<\/p>

Rondch\u00e2tel doit son nom \u00e0 un ch\u00e2teau construit sur les restes d\u2019un fort romain qui se trouvait sur la butte dominant les gorges. Une l\u00e9gende ayant comme protagoniste l\u2019ancien seigneur de ce ch\u00e2teau fournit une explication au nom de Taubenloch, puisque c\u2019est l\u00e0 qu\u2019une fille de la r\u00e9gion s\u2019\u00e9tait jet\u00e9e dans la Suze pour \u00e9viter les tourments du seigneur. Le nom de Taubenloch (le trou de la colombe) proviendrait de cette l\u00e9gende.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s Rondch\u00e2tel, on suit le chemin nouvellement am\u00e9nag\u00e9 pour les cyclistes qui leur permet d\u2019\u00e9viter la route tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e. A cause des travaux sur la semi-autoroute de Bienne, le sentier p\u00e9destre est d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 sur l\u2019itin\u00e9raire cycliste. Il est fort probable qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019avenir, cela restera ainsi.<\/p>

A Frinvillier, on passe pr\u00e8s d\u2019une ancienne pisciculture avant d\u2019entamer le sentier des gorges. Celles-ci sont assez larges au d\u00e9but, mais se r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissent \u00e0 mesure que l\u2019on s\u2019approche de leur d\u00e9bouch\u00e9. Juste avant d\u2019atteindre les premiers quartiers de Bienne, le sentier \u00e9volue entre deux parois verticales au-dessus de la Suze.<\/p>

Au d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 des gorges, on peut soit emprunter un bus pour rejoindre la gare. Mais il est avantageux de suivre les rives de la Suze car l\u2019environnement y est tr\u00e8s sympathique. Ce faisant, on passe devant le curieux b\u00e2timent de Swatch dont la structure tortueuse est faite d\u2019une charpente de bois.<\/p>
