<\/p>

La Voie R\u00e9volutionnaire fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la r\u00e9volution neuch\u00e2teloise du 1er<\/sup> mars 1848 qui a vu le d\u00e9part des royalistes du roi de Prusse et l\u2019instauration de la nouvelle r\u00e9publique. En effet, le 29 f\u00e9vrier (ann\u00e9e bissextile, donc), un mouvement d\u2019insurrection quitte le Locle pour marcher sur Neuch\u00e2tel. Le 1er<\/sup> mars, le ch\u00e2teau est pris aux royalistes, sans effusion de sang.<\/p>

La Voie R\u00e9volutionnaire reprend en partie le chemin qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 emprunt\u00e9 par les r\u00e9volutionnaires, avec toutefois un crochet en direction de l\u2019Escarpineau (je doute que les r\u00e9volutionnaires se seraient rendus \u00e0 ce belv\u00e9d\u00e8re\u00a0: ils avaient d\u2019autres chats \u00e0 fouetter\u00a0!).<\/p>

La Voie R\u00e9volutionnaire est un gros morceau pour qui veut la parcourir en une journ\u00e9e. En effet, la journ\u00e9e repr\u00e9sente 35Km pour 890m de d\u00e9nivellation. Ainsi, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable d\u2019effectuer des sections de cette voie, plus appropri\u00e9es en termes de distance et de d\u00e9nivellation. C\u2019est du reste ce qui est propos\u00e9 sur le site de Neuch\u00e2tel Rando. Ici, nous avions effectu\u00e9 le dernier bout de la Voie R\u00e9volutionnaire, entre Les Hauts-Geneveys et Neuch\u00e2tel.<\/p>

M\u00eame si on suit un bout du chemin historique, le plaisir est un peu g\u00e2ch\u00e9 par le fait que l\u2019on marche assez pr\u00e8s de la route traversant la Vue des Alpes. Le bruit y est donc assez cons\u00e9quent, en particulier lorsqu\u2019on traverse les Gorges du Seyon et ce, malgr\u00e9 le fait qu\u2019on se trouve alors sur l\u2019autre rive.<\/p>

Ce jour-l\u00e0, la m\u00e9t\u00e9o de la matin\u00e9e \u00e9tait incertaine et c\u2019est ainsi que nous avions atteint Les Hauts-Geneveys sous une pluie battante. C\u2019est pourquoi nous avions continu\u00e9 en train jusqu\u2019aux Genevey-sur-Coffrane pour constater que le temps allait en s\u2019am\u00e9liorant. Donc, nous avions repris le train pour nous ramener \u00e0 Les Hauts-Geneveys o\u00f9, le temps d\u2019un caf\u00e9, le temps s\u2019\u00e9tait compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9gag\u00e9.<\/p>

Le premier bout de l\u2019itin\u00e9raire n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant, puisqu\u2019il suit des routes goudronn\u00e9es pour rejoindre Boudevilliers. A partir de cette localit\u00e9, on doit encore suivre un instant une route goudronn\u00e9e avant d\u2019emprunter un chemin carrossable menant \u00e0 Valangin. Au lieu de passer tout droit \u00e0 travers Valangin, il vaut la peine de se d\u00e9tourner un peu pour aller jeter un coup d\u2019\u0153il \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9glise et au ch\u00e2teau.<\/p>

Depuis Valangin, on traverse le Seyon pour gagner de l\u2019altitude en face et traverser les Gorges du Seyon sur les hauts. On suit alors des tron\u00e7ons de chemins rainur\u00e9s par les charrettes qui devaient emprunter cet itin\u00e9raire.<\/p>

Au bout des Gorges du Seyon, on plonge en direction du torrent que l\u2019on traverse pour rejoindre un complexe d\u2019anciens moulins. L\u2019endroit, tr\u00e8s encaiss\u00e9, est spectaculaire et on imagine qu\u2019il devait rev\u00eatir une grande importance, le Seyon amenant pratiquement toujours de l\u2019eau. Plus loin, et apr\u00e8s avoir quitt\u00e9 le petit vallon, on atteint la magnifique coll\u00e9giale. On est alors pas loin de la Place de Pury ou de la gare.<\/p>
