<\/span><\/p>

Emmental und Entlebuch bilden eine Folge von T\u00e4lern, die man als eine einzige Talregion ansieht. Tats\u00e4chlich ist die Sache aber etwas komplexer, wenn man die hydrologische Ebene betrachtet. Die Folge dieser beiden T\u00e4ler endet n\u00e4mlich auf der H\u00f6he von Escholzmatt und nach Westen fliesst der \u00c4schlisbach, der in die Ilfis und weiter in die Grosse Emme (und damit in die Aare) m\u00fcndet. Nach Osten fliesst die Wiss Emme, die nach der M\u00fcndung in die Waldemme die Chliine Emme bildet, die in die Reuss m\u00fcndet.<\/p>

Ein etymologischer Punkt ist hier interessant. Der Name \u00c4schlisbach bezieht sich auf den Namen Escholzmatt, der im Dialekt \u00c4schlismatt ausgesprochen wird. Auch bei diesen beiden Namen (topographisch und im Dialekt) ist interessant, dass die Bedeutungen nicht identisch sind. Escholzmatt k\u00f6nnte sich mit “Matte des Eschenholzes” \u00fcbersetzen lassen, w\u00e4hrend der Name im Dialekt eher “Matte der Asche” bedeutet.<\/p>

Da ich mich in der Region schon mehrmals aufgehalten hatte, unter anderem in Marbach und in S\u00f6renberg, hatte ich mich im Vorfeld mit der topographischen Karte vertraut gemacht. Ich hatte festgestellt, dass ein Weg entlang der Waldemme f\u00fchrt und durch die Schlucht der Lammschlucht f\u00fchrt. Ich h\u00e4tte erwartet, dass ich in der Schlucht etwas Spektakul\u00e4res zu sehen bek\u00e4me. Leider wurde ich entt\u00e4uscht, denn der Weg bleibt auf der H\u00f6he \u00fcber der Schlucht und man sieht die Waldemme nur hier und da.<\/p>

Da wir an diesem Tag zu Fuss nach Sch\u00fcpfheim wollten, hatten wir in S\u00f6renberg den Bus nach Fl\u00fchli genommen. Ich hatte erwartet, dass der erste Teil der Wanderung nicht sehr interessant sein w\u00fcrde, zumal an einem St\u00fcck der Weg entlang der Strasse f\u00fchren w\u00fcrde.<\/p>

Von Fl\u00fchli ausgehend, gingen wir entlang des rechten Waldemmeufers \u00fcber ein kleines St\u00fcck, bevor wir die Strasse \u00fcberquerten, die ebenfalls das Ufer wechselt. Wir sind also auf das linke Ufer gewechselt, was uns einen Blick auf die Region von Hilfere erm\u00f6glichte. Nach einem St\u00fcck Weg sind wir an die Stelle gekommen, an der die Strasse wieder die Waldemme \u00fcberquert. Wir sind ein kurzes St\u00fcck entlang der Strasse gelaufen, bevor wir abgestiegen sind und die Waldemme direkt am Eingang der Schlucht \u00fcberquert hatten. Dort haben wir das Ufer gewechselt und sind auf dem Weg weitergelaufen.<\/p>

Nach der Schlucht (die relativ kurz ist) folgten wir der markierten Route \u00fcber die Chlusstalde, wo eine wundersch\u00f6ne kleine Kapelle steht. Weiter ging es dann leider etwas weniger sch\u00f6n, denn es wurden grosse Bauarbeiten durchgef\u00fchrt, um die Strasse nach S\u00f6renberg zu erweitern und zu verbessern.<\/p>

Kurz darauf erreichten wir den Talboden und \u00fcberquerten den Fluss, um nach Aenet\u00e4mme zu gelangen, was so viel wie “jenseits des Emme” bedeutet. So konnten wir Sch\u00fcpfheim auf der linken Flussseite erreichen. So mussten wir nicht an der Strasse entlanglaufen, die sehr stark befahrt wird (wenn man weiterf\u00e4hrt, erreicht man Glaubenbielen und die Obwaldner Panoramastrasse).<\/p>
