<\/span><\/p>

Die hier beschriebene Wanderung ist eine wundersch\u00f6ne Querung zwischen Engelberg und Meiringen. Obwohl der Weg auf einem Abschnitt von 4 km der Strasse zur Engstlenalp folgt, befindet man sich auf dem Rest der Wanderung an spektakul\u00e4ren und wilden Orten.<\/p>

Da die gesamte Querung zu lang w\u00e4re (man m\u00fcsste noch 10 km und 1300 m H\u00f6henunterschied hinzuf\u00fcgen), lohnt es sich, die ersten Gondel- und Sesselbahn zu nutzen, um \u00fcber den Jochpass zu gelangen und so zur Talstation der Sesselbahn Engstlenalp – Jochpass zu gelangen. So kann man auch einige weniger interessante Abschnitte des Jochpasswegs meiden.<\/p>

Nach der Ankunft an der Sesselbahntalstation wandert man zun\u00e4chst abw\u00e4rts in Richtung Engstlensee. Die Wendenst\u00f6cke, die man vom Seeufer aus sieht, wirken ganz anders als von Engelberg aus. Wenn man sich umdreht, sieht man den Titlis, der in den letzten Jahren eine Ver\u00e4nderung erlebt hat. Statt einer sch\u00f6nen, kuppelf\u00f6rmigen Gletscherhaube hat sich das Eis zur\u00fcckgezogen und die Form des Gipfels hat sich v\u00f6llig ver\u00e4ndert. Diese Ver\u00e4nderung hat in nur 10 Jahren stattgefunden und trotzdem gibt es immer noch Leute, die die Klimaver\u00e4nderung leugnen.<\/p>

Die Umgebung des Engstlensees ist besonders, da hier Arve w\u00e4chst, die in dieser H\u00f6he eine krumme Form annimmt. Einige davon findet man auch auf dem Abstieg zum G\u00e4ntel.<\/p>

Nach einem ersten steilen Abstieg Abschnitt gelangt man zu einem etwas flacheren Teil des Tals, das oberhalb von Schwarzental liegt. Bevor man dorthin gelangt, lohnt es sich, eine Reihe von Wasserf\u00e4llen zu betrachten, die direkt aus dem Fels herausfliessen. Sie heissen Jungib\u00e4chli. Ich empfehle diese Wanderung zu einer Zeit zu unternehmen, wenn viel Wasser fliesst, also entweder im Fr\u00fchling oder nach einer l\u00e4ngeren Regenperiode.<\/p>

Der Blick ins Tal zeigt einen weniger bekannten Teil der Berner Alpen. Es handelt sich um die Region des Urbachtals, der Engelh\u00f6rner und des Gauli.<\/p>

Nach dem Abstieg ins Tal und dem St\u00fcck asphaltierter Strasse verl\u00e4sst man das Tal nach rechts \u00fcber einen kurzen Anstieg. Man quert dann den Talseitenhang entlang eines Hochebenen Wegs. Anstatt aber der Via Sbrinz zu folgen, die nach Innertkirchen hinabf\u00fchrt, ist es interessanter, auf dem Berg Flanke weiterzugehen und \u00fcber Gr\u00fc\u00f6bi zu wandern. So kann man auf dem Weg nach Meiringen einen Blick in die Aareschlucht werfen.<\/p>

Der letzte Teil der Wanderung f\u00fchrt durch Meiringen entlang der markierten Wanderwege. Wer es k\u00fcrzer haben m\u00f6chte, kann mit der kleinen Bahn von Innertkirchen fahren.<\/p>
