Il y a quelque temps, nous avions entendu parler du Cirque de Consolation et surtout, nous en avions vu quelques images. Cependant, nous n\u2019avions pas envie d\u2019aller visiter cet endroit en pleine saison et ce, pour deux raisons. D\u2019une part, le site doit \u00eatre tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 en \u00e9t\u00e9 et la p\u00e9riode d\u2019\u00e9tiage doit rendre l\u2019endroit moins spectaculaire. Comme il avait passablement plu au d\u00e9but octobre, nous nous \u00e9tions dit que ce serait peut-\u00eatre la bonne occasion.<\/p>

Le cirque de consolation ne se trouve pas tr\u00e8s loin de La Chaux-de-Fonds \u00e0 vol d\u2019oiseau (une petite vingtaine de kilom\u00e8tres). Mais pour s\u2019y rendre en automobile, il faut couvrir plus de 40Km pour rejoindre le site et ce, par de petites routes sinueuses.<\/p>

Au fond du cirque de Consolation se trouve un ancien couvent fond\u00e9 au 17\u00e8me<\/sup> si\u00e8cle. C\u2019est le point de d\u00e9part id\u00e9al de la courte randonn\u00e9e, car un grand parking se trouve juste en-dessous de Notre-Dame de Consolation.<\/p>

Depuis le parking, un bon chemin m\u00e8ne au pied de la Cascade du Lan\u00e7ot. Cette cascade tombe en droite ligne depuis une assise rocheuse se trouvant un peu plus haut. En allant \u00e0 la cascade, on passe devant le d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 du Tabourot.<\/p>

Au lieu de revenir directement au parking, nous \u00e9tions encore mont\u00e9s \u00e0 la Source du Tabourot avant de continuer vers la Source du Lan\u00e7ot. La mont\u00e9e est am\u00e9nag\u00e9e avec des escaliers permettant de rejoindre la vire sur laquelle se trouve la Source du Lan\u00e7ot. Cette vire est parfois un peu \u00e9troite, mais ne pr\u00e9sente pas de difficult\u00e9s majeures. La Source du Lan\u00e7ot est un endroit surprenant, car l\u2019eau sourd du rocher au fond d\u2019une large balme. On peut alors suivre l\u2019eau des yeux avant qu\u2019elle ne se transforme en cascade.<\/p>

En continuant le long de la vire, on atteint un endroit o\u00f9 il s\u2019agit de monter encore un peu en empruntant un escalier avant de rejoindre un endroit moins escarp\u00e9. On peut alors, depuis cet endroit descendre vers les maisons de la Scie et suivre le vallon pour revenir \u00e0 Notre-Dame de Consolation.<\/p>
