<\/p>

Voici une randonn\u00e9e souvent effectu\u00e9e, mais nous essayons \u00e0 chaque fois de varier un peu les itin\u00e9raires. Le chemin classique est celui qui part depuis la T\u00eate-de-Ran pour traverser sur le Mont Racine tout en suivant la cr\u00eate. Une autre possibilit\u00e9 maintes fois utilis\u00e9e est celle qui consiste \u00e0 partir de la Sagne et d\u2019effectuer une travers\u00e9e.<\/p>

Ici, nous \u00e9tions partis depuis Les Geneveys-sur-Coffrane pour monter \u00e0 travers bois jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la Grande Motte. La mont\u00e9e le long du chemin forestier est assez monotone, mais le plaisir est d\u2019autant plus grand lorsque l\u2019on d\u00e9bouche dans les p\u00e2turages. Ceux-ci rejoints, il suffit de monter en ligne directe jusqu\u2019au sommet.<\/p>

Pour la descente, nous avions opt\u00e9 de rejoindre les Grandes Pradi\u00e8res afin de profiter un maximum de la vue. Ce faisant, on retarde le moment o\u00f9 on passe de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la cr\u00eate. Arriv\u00e9s sur la route goudronn\u00e9e, nous avons suivi celle-ci jusqu\u2019aux environs de la Grande Racine. Depuis ce chalet, nous avons suivi le Sentier des Statues pour descendre dans la Vall\u00e9e de la Sagne. L\u2019humidit\u00e9 inh\u00e9rente \u00e0 la saison faisait que le sentier \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s glissant par endroits.<\/p>

Une fois au pied de la pente, il nous a suffit de traverser le fond de la vall\u00e9e pour rejoindre la gare de La Sagne.<\/p>
