<\/p>

Nous avions entendu parler du Creux de Glace comme sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 fromag\u00e8re produite \u00e0 Corg\u00e9mont, mais nous ignorions tout de son existence. Cet automne-l\u00e0, nous avions eu l\u2019envie d\u2019aller au Chasseral, mais pour varier un peu, nous avions d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de partir depuis l\u2019h\u00f4tel du Chasseral afin d\u2019effectuer une boucle passant par le sommet. En regardant de plus pr\u00e8s la carte, nous nous \u00e9tions rendu compte qu\u2019il existait un itin\u00e9raire suivant exactement ce que nous anticipions de faire\u00a0: le Chemin de Chasseral.<\/p>

Depuis le parking de l\u2019h\u00f4tel du Chasseral, nous sommes d\u2019abord descendus en direction du Pr\u00e9 aux Auges. Comme nous \u00e9tions compl\u00e8tement \u00e0 l\u2019ombre et que l\u2019automne \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien avanc\u00e9, il faisait bien froid. Ce n\u2019est que plus bas que nous avons retrouv\u00e9 le soleil, du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du Pr\u00e9 aux Auges. Cet endroit est la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tendue un peu plate se trouvant au-dessus de la tr\u00e8s encaiss\u00e9e Combe Gr\u00e8de. Mais cette, fois, au lieu de nous aventurer dans celle-ci, nous avons suivi un sentier passant en balcon au-dessus des parois. M\u00eame si l\u2019ambiance est assez a\u00e9rienne, la vire sur laquelle on se trouve est large. Il faut cependant quand m\u00eame faire attention de ne pas faire rouler des cailloux, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire de la Combe Gr\u00e8de se trouvant juste en dessous.<\/p>

Plus loin, nous avons rejoint la zone de p\u00e2turages vastes et plats des Limes et de la M\u00e9tairie de Meuringue. Le nom de cette m\u00e9tairie fait penser \u00e0 la Meringue, dessert tr\u00e8s connu. Il n\u2019en est rien\u00a0: le nom est \u00e0 mettre en relation avec le village de M\u00f6rigen se trouvant au bord du Lac de Bienne.<\/p>

Un peu plus loin, on voit une indication pour le Creux de Glace. M\u00eame si la visite repr\u00e9sente un petit d\u00e9tour, il en vaut la peine. C\u2019est comme cela que nous \u00e9tions all\u00e9s visiter l\u2019entr\u00e9e de ce gouffre, qui \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9 dans le temps pour garder au frais le fromage produit dans les m\u00e9tairies, avant d\u2019\u00eatre descendu dans la vall\u00e9e. Apr\u00e8s le Creux de Glace, nous \u00e9tions descendus pour atteindre un petit vallon remontant vers la M\u00e9tairie du Milieu. Depuis cet endroit, nous avions suivi l\u2019itin\u00e9raire remontant vers la Vacherie de Nods et Les Roches, qui se trouvent non loin du sommet du Chasseral. L\u00e0, le contraste \u00e9tait fort, puisque nous avions randonn\u00e9 pratiquement seuls jusque l\u00e0, nous nous \u00e9tions subitement retrouv\u00e9s dans des endroits passablement fr\u00e9quent\u00e9s.<\/p>
