<\/p>

Le Mont Aubert est la premi\u00e8re \u00e9l\u00e9vation dominant le Lac de Neuch\u00e2tel au-dessus de Concise et bien que son altitude ne culmine qu\u2019\u00e0 un peu plus de 1200, quelques beaux points de vue s\u2019y trouvent. C\u2019est le cas en particulier d\u2019un lieu au nom \u00e9vocateur de Sur la Roche. Le nom est \u00e9vocateur car \u00e0 travers toute la pente du Jura dominant Concise, seule une barre de rochers y est pr\u00e9sente et le point de vue se trouve au bout et au-dessus de cette barre de rocher. La vue y est d\u00e9gag\u00e9e sur le Lac de Neuch\u00e2tel et la r\u00e9gion d\u2019Yverdon-les-Bains. On se trouve \u00e9galement face aux Pr\u00e9alpes vaudoises et fribourgeoises.<\/p>

Ce jour-l\u00e0, nous nous \u00e9tions gar\u00e9s pr\u00e8s du terrain d\u2019exercice de l\u2019arm\u00e9e des Rochats. Cet endroit est pratique pour le d\u00e9part de la randonn\u00e9e, mais n\u00e9cessite de s\u2019assurer que l\u2019arm\u00e9e n\u2019a pas pr\u00e9vu des man\u0153uvres dans la r\u00e9gion. Il faut donc consulter les avis de tir de la place. Depuis cet endroit, nous avions commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 suivre la route goudronn\u00e9e menant au Val de Travers avant d\u2019emprunter le sentier balis\u00e9 menant aux Serrolliets. Apr\u00e8s une courte mont\u00e9e, nous avions d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 dans les p\u00e2turages pr\u00e8s du Petit Serroliet. A cet endroit, la vue s\u2019\u00e9largit un peu, notamment en direction du Soliat. \u00a0Depuis le Grand Serroliet, on voit bien la suite du Jura en direction des Aiguilles de Baulmes.<\/p>

Nous n\u2019\u00e9tions pas mont\u00e9s au sommet du Mont Aubert, car celui-ci est partiellement recouvert d\u2019arbres cachant la vue. Nous avions donc suivi le sentier balis\u00e9 passant au-dessous et rejoignant Sur la Roche. Depuis le point de vue, nous \u00e9tions mont\u00e9s au Restaurant des G\u00e9linottes pour descendre de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 le long d\u2019un sentier vaguement balis\u00e9 en direction de Cavasson. L\u00e0, un chemin forestier traversant la Joux de Mutrux se d\u00e9tache et permet de revenir au point de d\u00e9part sans faire de grands d\u00e9tours.<\/p>
