Wir hatten schon lange vor, auf die R\u00f6ti, das Wahrzeichen von Solothurn, zu steigen. Die R\u00f6ti ist n\u00e4mlich eine steile Felswand, die nach Osten ausgerichtet ist. So hat man einen freien Blick auf die Region Wangen. Es gibt mehrere M\u00f6glichkeiten, auf die R\u00f6ti zu steigen, die einfachste ist, mit der Weissensteinbahn hinaufzufahren. So ist der Aufstieg auf die R\u00f6ti nur ein kurzer Spaziergang mit wenig H\u00f6hendifferenz. Es lohnt sich aber auch, von Thal aus zu steigen, da man durch eine ruhige, intakte Landschaft wandert, vor allem auf der Seite der Schofschlucht.<\/p>

Dort sind wir vom Zentrum von Welschenrohr aus gestartet und sind ein St\u00fcck der Strasse zum Balmberg entlanggewandert. Da wir fr\u00fch unterwegs waren, war der Verkehr noch nicht so stark. Sp\u00e4ter am Tag kann es aber sicherlich ungem\u00fctlich werden. Nach dem Verlassen der Strasse sind wir dem markierten Weg in die Schofschlucht entlanggewandert, die wir durchquert haben und so zu den Weiden des Kr\u00fcttlibergs gelangt sind.<\/p>

Von Balmberg aus sind wir dem auf der Karte von Schweiz Mobil als Bergwanderweg ausgewiesenen Weg gefolgt, der in rot markiert ist. Dies l\u00e4sst darauf schliessen, dass es sich um einen Bergwanderweg handelt. Im Gel\u00e4nde ist der Weg aber gelb markiert, da er tats\u00e4chlich keine Schwierigkeiten aufweist. Ich vermute, dass der Weg als Bergwanderweg ausgewiesen ist, um zu verhindern, dass im Winter unerfahrene Personen diesen Weg meiden. Nach einem kurzen Aufstieg durch die Felsen sind wir auf der R\u00f6ti angekommen, wo ein geod\u00e4tischer Punkt steht.<\/p>

Anstatt direkt von der R\u00f6ti abzusteigen, sind wir noch auf dem kleinen Gipfel des Balmfluech\u00f6pfli gestiegen, von wo man einen sch\u00f6nen Blick auf Solothurn hat. F\u00fcr den weiteren Abstieg haben wir den Stigelos gew\u00e4hlt, einen \u00fcberraschenden Weg, der sich zwischen den Felsen hindurchschl\u00e4ngelt. Wir waren aber entt\u00e4uscht, dass viele Leute diesen Weg benutzen. Ein grosser Kontrast zu unserem ersten Mal, als wir diesen Weg gegangen sind.<\/p>

F\u00fcr das Weiterwandern zum Bahnhof Solothurn sind wir noch durch Verena Klamm gelaufen, die direkt in das besiedelte Gebiet von Solothurn m\u00fcndet. Der Kontrast ist dann schon sehr stark.<\/p>
