<\/p>\n

Cette journ\u00e9e a marqu\u00e9 une \u00e9tape importante sur notre p\u00e9riple menant du Rh\u00f4ne \u00e0 la Maggia\u00a0: le franchissement du col de la Hendar Furggu. Mais avant d\u2019entamer la mont\u00e9e vers ce col, nous avons suivi le fond du Pomat le long d\u2019une petite route goudronn\u00e9e, heureusement tr\u00e8s peu fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e. Nous avons suivi celle-ci jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Stafelwald, ou Fondovalle. C\u2019est depuis cette petite localit\u00e9 que les choses s\u00e9rieuses commencent. En effet, le sentier grimpe pratiquement sans interruption jusque dans les environs du col.<\/p>\n

On commence par monter \u00e0 travers bois tout en franchissant quelques cours d\u2019eau. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019Alpe Stavello (Alp Stafel sur les anciennes cartes) que l\u2019on atteint les p\u00e2turages. A l\u2019Alpe Stavello se trouve une cabane de berger. \u00c9tait-ce l\u00e0 que nos protagonistes avaient vu une bouteille devant la cabane\u00a0? Ils avaient pris la bouteille pour une bouteille de vin, mais qui s\u2019\u00e9tait av\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00eatre de la nicotine pour soigner les moutons.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9pass\u00e9 le p\u00e2turage, nous sommes mont\u00e9s dans une raide for\u00eat de m\u00e9l\u00e8zes o\u00f9 le sentier se fraie un chemin \u00e0 travers les bosquets de rhododendron. Ce passage est tr\u00e8s raide et m\u00e8ne \u00e0 une zone un peu moins pentue, o\u00f9 se d\u00e9tache un sentier permettant de rejoindre la Grossalp par la Guriner Furggu. Toutefois, nous avons poursuivi notre mont\u00e9e en direction de la Hendar Furggu.<\/p>\n

Par une boucle suivant une esp\u00e8ce de vire, on rejoint alors le Lago Superiore, magnifique lac de montagne aux eaux noires. Corina Bille croit avoir lu, au mus\u00e9e de Gurin que ce lac se nommait Ch\u00e4lisee. Si on consulte les cartes du si\u00e8cle pass\u00e9, il est mentionn\u00e9 comme Obersee, ce qui rejoint la d\u00e9nomination italienne. La derni\u00e8re fois que j\u2019\u00e9tais mont\u00e9 \u00e0 la Hendar Furggu, on montait directement dans le ravin. Le nouveau cheminement est bien plus agr\u00e9able.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s le lac, on monte encore de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s raide une esp\u00e8ce de croupe qui donne sur un petit vallon encombr\u00e9 de gros blocs. Il s\u2019agit alors de traverser au mieux ceux-ci pour rejoindre le col. Sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 tessinois, on est \u00e9galement en pr\u00e9sence de blocs de pierre, mais ceux-ci sont un peu moins gros et la zone plus facile \u00e0 franchir que du c\u00f4t\u00e9 italien.<\/p>\n

La descente sur Gurin suit actuellement, contrairement \u00e0 ce qu\u2019avait v\u00e9cu Corina Bille, des sentiers bien marqu\u00e9s, m\u00eame si les intemp\u00e9ries de 2024 ont endommag\u00e9 quelques petits ponts.<\/p>\n
